I might be able to see the staff viewing of the movie this Thursday at the local theatre. If not they are doing it this weekend and I only have to pay $2 for the movie and unlimited popcorn and pop.

I wish I could get into early previews of films. Last time I even had the distant possiblity I ended up not being able to because of family crap.

Yep, I'm seeing it thursday night at an Imax theater. I can't wait. Finally, a movie I've WANTED to see in awhile, as oppose to seeing something for sake of going to the movies.

When I lived in Austin, they did this all the time. that town had advance screenings like mad. I don't think I paid for a movie in the whole year-and-a-half I lived there. Man I miss it.

I remember seeing the dude from AICN at one of the screenings one time. That is a large man.

well, i saw it last night and wow...it was pretty awesome...the story was really nice, though the accents are a little too hard to understand at some moments...the action was nice, and theres a fight scene thats very matrixish....but it works...i kinda predicted the ending, but not too bad...and i dont wanna give anything away, but i would recomend this movie...only 2 things i was bummed about, i just dont like natalie bald, and there was no previews...i so wanted to see superman returns trailer on the big screen....

um....i dont recall him singing, but there was a little singsongy tale, about the 5th of november....

EDIT:if a mod reads this, can you change the title to say that i went to see it yesterday, or just add something to it, so people know that im not seeing it tonight, but in fact saw it yesterday....or just make it v for vendetta...that might work....

    no vangelus dont spoil it!

i dont want to go in with expectation.

the vicious cabaret was brilliant btw, interspersing different actions/characters.

but the domino bit looked hokey in previews.

I saw this last night in an IMax theater and wow, amazing. Not only was it an incredible movie all by itself, but it was ten times better in a digital imax theater.

This movie really made me want to make a movie about Ronald McDonald as an evil dictator and having the Burger King fight him.
