Yup I made up my mind it's done not going back on my decision as I am returning to school, alot of people make fun of my decision as I am 30 years old and I haven't finished my high school yet and I don't want to work for a Collection Agency and being a Collector all my life this is why I am going straight to college and then maybe University. I learned a lot working as a Waiter and as a Collector, hence education it never gets old.
Best of luck to you returning to school. Don't let the people making fun of you get to you, this is an important thing to do and will have you much better off than you are now.
Good luck. Don't listen to any of them. My (former) best friend from my previous school was certain I wouldn't last longer than three months in private school. I graduated tenth grade today and made the Honor Roll. Fuck that noise, man.
I'm 30 and I started finishing up my civil engineering degree. Its one of the best decisions I ever made. It will be for you as well. Find a career that you will love or like enough that you won't mind doing it. The money and perks will follow.
I'm a teacher, 34, and wish I could go back to school too, good for you, you mentioned you didn't finish high school, is it ok to ask what happened?
Totally agree. Most important: Don't let anyone tell you, that you have a worthless degree, because you earned it. If you have any homework (hw) questions don't be ashamed to ask anyone. I don't think that any TFW 2005 member won't say no to help you out. When do you start school?
Congrats and good luck. I don't have plans to go back to school anytime soon but if I ever get the ambition, I'd like to go to tech school. Trouble is, I can't decide between graphic design or photography.
There's nothing shameful about going to school at 30. As long as you have the drive is what matters. That's good to know that you're willing to start fresh and take the hits.
