I thought IF anyone here likes the new God of War 3 demo are you going to be buying the Ultimate edition for 99.99 or the regular version for 59.99. I have the big daddy on pre-order from game stop and I can't wait cause it will only be another 2 and half weeks untill it comes open for sale. I know the day I get it, I will be getting the guide to it as well. I hope also their isn't another thread for this game already cause I couldn't find one. Anyway I will be 1 happy dude when I can FINALLY get this ultimate edition and bring it home. If you have played the demo AND have played the ps2 versions as well the ported version from ps2 to ps3 I couldnt see why anyone wouldn't want to get this game.

Tempting but I almost never ever ever end up watching or listening to any extras with games or movies. Plus I'm cheap.

Dream Theater is in there, so I'm in. I submitted a video for the contest to win it, but I still have it preordered, because who knows if I will qualify.

I will be getting the regular version too. I've no interest in "special" editions version of the games, I've bought so far. But then again, I must admit the "ultimate" edition looks good!

I agree. I don't usually buy special editions. I passed on the AVP one, but this one hits a sweet spot. It has Dream Theater and an HD documentary, among other things.

I wanted the Ultimate Edition, getting layed off might prevent me from even obtaining just the game.

I'm really hoping the Ultimate Edition isn't to rare so I can eventually get it.

While I like the Ultimate Edition, I'll stick with the regular release. Not enough stuff in the Ultimate edition that I like for me to drop the $100.

I have the regular game on preorder, but I'd like to get the Ultimate edition. If I knew what size the Pandora's box was, it would make a difference. If it's in scale with my Kratos figures, it would push me over the edge I think. Plus the soundtracks would be neat.

How big's your Kratos? I seem to remember reading it's 9" wide.

Getting the Ultimate edition because we're using the box in our wedding ceremony :)

Seriously...our pastor suggested that we include a "box ceremony" in our service. The night before the wedding we each write a love letter to each other talking about how we feel right then. We then bring the letters to the wedding without letting the other see it and we seal it in a box during the ceremony. Ideally we open the box on our 5th anniversary over a nice dinner and read what we said about each other as we approached the wedding...or if something unfortunate happens and we're at a crossroads in the relationship we can agree to open the box, go into seperate rooms with the letters and then come back and work it all out. The pastor said he likes doing the ceremony, but usually no one has a decent box...I immediately thought that Pandora's Box would be perfect :p

Anyway...back on topic...GOW3 is going to ROCK!

LOL Pandora's box at a wedding Ceremony! That's freekin' awesome! Does the Pasture know what IT is? Anyway, that idea of putting notes in it is an excellent idea.

The Video Contest winners will be announced March 1st. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm sure there's some badass videos out there. Still, it would be REALLY nice to win it.

Nice! If things get bad, you will open Pandora's box to fix things. Pretty fitting use I think. Also, I like that idea a lot. I may have people do that as well.

Locustreign, I have the 7" NECA Kratos figure. I doubt the box will be tall enough to be like it was in the game. Oh well.
