So, ordered my first ever MG Gundam kit, the EW Deathscythe, and have been eagerly anticipating its arrival. Nice lil' early Christmas present, was supposed to get here today. Been tracking it online every day since it shipped, all excited.

Aaaaand not only do they give me a delivery exception (excuse me for having a life and not being home to sign for it, especially since nowhere did I see anything saying I'd have to) but they don't even leave a goddamn notice that they tried to deliver it that I can sign so they can just leave it next time (did he even get out of the truck?)? And they don't ship on Saturdays (lazy asses, I'm working 2-11:30 tomorrow) so they aren't even trying again until next week. Set it to hold it at the local FedEx, at least that way if my life gets in the way again I can just pick the damn thing up.

Yeah, just kinda irritating. Was having a pretty bad day, was supposed to be the one thing I had to look forward to when I got home.

You think FedEx is bad? Try using DHL. You'll beg for FedEx.

Yeah I never use FedEx if I can avoid it.

One time I had a guy deliver my package at 10PM. TEN FRICKEN PM. My ass was already off to bed. I'd much rather them deliver it the next day. Never has USPS or UPS delivered past 6PM. I don't see why FedEx can't do the same.

Plus they never ring my doorbell. Instead they just post a notice saying they missed me which is a bunch of crap because I'd be home all day and would've noticed if they rang the doorbell.

Yay, another "I hate x mail carrier because I didn't get my toys when I wanted them" thread. The flip side to this thread would have been if Fedex had left the package when the OP wasn't home, and it got stolen. Then he could have complained about them doing that. Don't get me wrong, I get being upset, but you know....sorry, cranky mood this early morning (really need my girlfriend to get back from Korea soon).

I think it depends on the situation. I would much rather have them hold on to it than leave it for my neighbors across the hall (who think the Gubberment is out to get 'em), or any number of the crack heads who live in this complex, to ruin...that being said...I've had Fed Ex, UPS AND USPS ALL leave notes/not leave notes/not knock when I WAS home...

Lucky for me the fed-ex guy that delivers in my area is one of my best friends of 30 years. So when he has a package for my house he calls me and lets me know, so i can tell him whether i am home or at work.

Fed Ex and UPS are about to merge into a new company. Their new company will be called Fed-Up. :D
And yea, I don't trust DHL worth a damn.

I've never worked with FedEx. Almost shipped someone's stuff using it, but saw it was $14 each to ship, I went to UPS and used bad ass bubble mailers.

My package arrived yesterday from Priority Mail. I can't believe how fast it arrived.

I was expected it to arrive this Tuesday.

I hate Fed-Ex too. I ordered some medicine for my goldfish and I didn't have a tracking number. Apparently they delivered it to my leasing office but they never rang the bell nor left any notice on the door that they had even delivered it at all. I found out a week later.

That is does :lol  I have not had to deal with Fed ex but once when I orders SDCC Blaster from HTS, and that went smoothly. 99% of my stuff comes via UPS and the US Mail.
