Anyone who can tell by these pic's if this figure is vintage or a reissue? Also, is it possible to attach a God Bomber figure to a regular US version Powermaster Optimus?
I'm not sure if you'd be able to attach the Godbomber arms to US PM Prime, since his fists don't retract. But it's worth a shot.
Well it has the "closed" missile pods so it can't be a single-pack-vintage, but it could be a gift-set-vintage or (MUCH more likely) a Reissue D/L
The US Power Master Prime has some mold differences. The arms have less sculpting and the fists dont retract. The Reissue uses the japanese reissue's mold though. I dont think the fists have to retract to attach the arms.
They don't. I'm pretty sure I still have a vintage GB on a PM Prime on my display shelf. Been there since before the re-issue even came out.
If I had to guess, I would say the reissue. Everything should attach to the US G1 PM Prime, the only thing I am unsure of are the arms.
This is the reissue one. The sticker on the arms of vintage god bomber does not have the white/grey lines. Only the reissue one has the white/grey lines on the stickers on its arms. It's really difficult to tell the diff between vintage God Ginrai and the reissue one. Even the copyright stamps on both the vintage one and the reissue one is the same. The only noticeable diff is actually the eyes of the small ginrai robot which I believe most will already know about it. I've seen sellers (my friends) actually claiming that they r selling vintage god ginrais where, in fact, only the cab is vintage and the rest, including the trailer and godbomber, r from the reissue one. So for those who r planning to purchase vintage god ginrais/god bombers, pls take note of this.
