[I've moved the older WIP pics to my MySpace page, which you can find here.]

I was working on another project and suddenly came up with the idea for Cy-Kill while tinkering with various junker parts and accessories. The alt mode transformation will be similar to that of the original toy (simple and doable).

Here is a comprehensive parts list:

Head: Classics Ramjet (homage to Cy-Kill's design in the Machine Robo anime)
    Torso: Armada Heavy Load/Hightower
    Arms: Armada Heavy Load/Hightower
    Thighs: Armada Blurr
    Legs: Armada Blurr
    Wheels: Armada Sideways
    Seat: Classics Cliffjumper jet ski
    Exhaust pipes: Cybertron Swerve
    Misc: Lego Technic

    3-27-09
A few bot mode poses before entering the prep-n-paint phase...

    Looks promising.
Do you plan on him being a partsformer like his 80s predecessor or will he have fully transforming engine and wheels?

You know its almost like making an Autobot X figure, and also it kinda gives me that Dr. Frankenstein vibe and I might sound like Igor and say," Yes, Master." Oh crap I just said it. Anyways Satomi it looks good.

That's what I have in mind. I like the idea of being able to pop the wheels onto his shoulders while in robot mode just like the original.

Some parts are tentative. I might switch to another torso altogether. I also will need to add more motorcycle parts. All I really have in the way of bike TF's is Armada Sideways, Movie Arcee, Cybertron Ransack, and 2 KO Axers (I don't plan on touching my Animated Prowl/Oilslick).

I plan on using the handle bars from Sideways, but I don't know about other bike parts. But at least I have a base planned out.

I'm guessing the concensus is that I work on this and come back to Wideload at another time. If that's the case then I wholeheartedly agree. This just seems like it'll be a lot more fun and the end results could be even better.

Hard to say. On such a "from-scratch" project, it's hard to tell just how the parts fit without having the whole pre-assembly in front of you personally...
The only things I can suggest right now is look for lower legs that have actual knee joints, and possibly a better head.

I definately see some potential in this project. In terms of where to get bike parts, have you tried just plain ol' motorcycle toys? They'd need some retooling for transformation, but those can probably be found at any store with a toy aisle.

Not to be negative, I never was one for Gobots. But your WIP pics look cool.
I can't wait to see him done.

Added new pics of the proposed alt mode. It's just a mock-up at this point.

If you look closely, Energon Starscream's thighs have knee joints.

And the Ramjet head, with some cutting and detailing, will serve as my Cy-Kill head. I'm also going for the look from the Machine Robo anime.

    Here's a clip of him (2:38)

Notice the narrower head and the similarity to the conehead seekers.

No I have not, but you do make a good point. I have plenty of robot parts. I just need kibble for the alt mode. I'll see about hitting up the Kmart on my way home from work.

    Thanks.

It looks much cooler than I thought it would.

As for some bike parts, I'll probably use Armada Sideways' handle bars and maybe Movie Arcee's crossbow as his seat/weapon.

Thanks for the comments thus far. I'm going to resume working on this tonight. Hopefully, I'll have pics of it when it starts coming together.
