***All WIP pics can be found in the 4th post of this thread*** This is a bonus figure that I'm working on for destrongerlupus as a thank-you for giving me the chance as a kitbasher on top of being an extremely patient customer. This is my second attempt at a custom Cy-Kill. Here's the first one from 2009: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/226787-gobots-cy-kill-mission-comprete.html The torso comes from a 2.0 Sideswipe, which is currently in the process of being bulked up by a cyber key (from S7 Hardtop) as well as lego, styrene, and bowei block bits. The arms are a combo of a G1 Splashdown and Cybertron Sideways. The upper pretender half is great because there's a hole that runs through the arm. The outer one is big enough to slide in a technic piece. I think the wheels will look better mounted this way. The legs are obviously from an Armada Blurr, which I also used in my first attempt. The same can be said of the exhaust pipes (from Cybertron Clocker). The rest is being rounded out by random lego and Gundam kibble. The wheels come from an Armada Sideways, but I've also been experimenting with a new pair from a KO RID bike. The rear is fatter than the front. I'm trying to decide between this particular set and the one from Armada Sideways. My partial inspiration for both Cy-Kills comes from the illustration below. I never wanted to model mine after the goofy Hanna-Barbera animation model. As with my other Gobot-inspired projects, I wanted to borrow design cues from the Transformers, something that can be appropriately displayed with the modern Classics line. Head courtesy of hXcpunk23.
