I bought some Gobots from two junk lots @ BBTS.

Does anyone have an idea what collection the diaclone-like one-box black vanette comes from? It says Takara on it; no robot mode, only battle station (similar to G1 Ironhide & Ratchet medic bay)?

I know who Puzzler and Cy-kill are, but does anyone know the names of the other Gobots? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The subs are Dive-Dive, I think the gray one is a KO version of it. The non Puzzler Cop car is Hans-Cuff, the orange truck is Dumper. The Bronco looking guy is "Scratch". The race car I think is a KO of Slicks, as he is usually black and orange. Not sure about the van though, sorry.

I don't think the grey one is a knock off. I had one when I was younger, which was definitely official.

Thanks everyone for your help - much appreciated! Now I can name these guys in my checklist/inventory - I just started getting back into gobots but found out that I am completely clueless about them, lol!

BTW Mr. Grimm - I think the grey Dive-Dive may be a KO - the quality is lesser than the blue one (less die-cast and cheaper plastic) and it has "Taiwan" imprinted on it as opposed to "Bandai Japan"...

Edit - I just noticed that the F1-Slicks is also potentially a KO, which would account for why the colour scheme is off (plus it has "Taiwan" imprinted too).

If you are really into Gobots/Machine Robo then I highly sugest you get this book.

    "Machine Robo Wedge"
    ISBN# 4-8130-2022-4

Kinokuniya is where I bought mine. it is $45 bucks.

It has every japanese Machine Robo toy including the latest Machine Robo Rescue and Mugenbine toys. It also has a few pages dedicated to the Gobots US versions.

I highyl recommend it. It also comes with a japanese DVD with tons of TV commercials of the Machine Robo toys.
