I'm one of those rare people who actually loved both the Transformers show and the Go-Bots show. In fact, every day after school, my home town station always played new episodes of TF, G-B, and Robotech one after the other, kind of a 'transformable robot hour and 1/2".

Anyway, anybody know any cool Go-Bot websites, where I can find any episodes guides etc.

And does anyone else want this show out on DVD??? Why isn't it already? I mean, if Inhumanoids can get a release, why not Go-Bots??? They could package it with the Rock Lords movie.

hasbro now owns go-bots, and I think the way they see it, if they allowed a DVD release of it, it might compete with transformers in some way.

Gimme a break. Are they daft? If they own the Go-Bots, then they're getting the money from any DVD sales, right? And whoever buys Transformers DVDs is still gonna buy Transformers DVDs.

I don't see how they figure it's a problem, they get all the money for both shows. I only see them getting more cash, not less, by releasing Go-Bots.

LOL. Cause I want to watch them on my television, not a teeny tiny little picture on a computer screen. Also, want them in pristine condition.

I'd love it if they somehow get the later Machine Robo series out over here complet with their newer molds (though Bandai would have to release it)

I was a total TF fanboy when I was a kid, I remember I hated the Gobots TV show, and offended one of my friend's parents right after Christmas one year, he was showing me his new go-bots he had gotten as gifts and I was pretty much like, "uh-huh, well... um... those look funny." (they were the deluxe gobots, the ones with windshields for heads) and then starting going on about how much cooler Transformers were.

That kid's dad looked at me like he wanted to kill me.

The only really cool windshield head guy was Dr Go.

Yeah, I don't much care for the toys, but I loved the show when I was a kid.

The problem with youtube is that it doesn't have all of the episodes. Personally, I want to see the final episode so I can find out how the series ended but it ain't on that site...yet.

The other problem is that Bandai owns the likenesses to the toys, as they produced most of them. So it's not gonna happen, unless they decide to change all the names or something.

It probably is a licensing nightmare, as the show is from Hanna-Barbera/Warner, but permissions/arrangements would have to be made from Tonka(Hasbro) and Bandai. I don't know exactly whose permissions are necessary, but probably everyone's would have to be obtained to avoid possible legal issues.
