Anyone buy this album? It is pretty good. Very catchy. I hope hip hop goes more in this direction. With Gorillaz, Andre's "The Love Below" and now these guys, its starting a good base.

Plus they have a song called Transformer!

I picked up this album last week and haven't stopped listening to it since.

Did anyone else catch their performance on the MTV Movie Awards? It was the greatest thing I've seen on MTV in a decade. Cee-lo was dressed as Vader, Danger Mouse was dressed as a Jedi, the drummer was a wookie, and there were Storm toopers, Xwing pilots, and assorted other SW characters that the band dressed as while performing Crazy. Awesome!

Oh, and Violater, is GB really different from Cee-lo's previous work? A friend recommended his other albums to me since I like St. Elsewhere so much.

The other good thing about it is except for maybe one song, it is not offensive. I don't think I've heard one swear word even.

I picked the album up a few days ago. Very refreshing. Really remind me of The Roots. It's a very enjoyable album all around.

Interesting you say that. I saw The Fugees, Roots and Goodie mob at First Ave. back in 96. I was only one out of ten white people at the show. I was definitely a minority that night.

Back then The Fugees were getting pretty big, The Roots had a following, but the Goodie Mob was not well known (I think).
But GM stole the show in my eyes.

Ce-loo, the singer of Gnarls Barkley was in Goodie Mob. Which is why I found the Roots reference interesting because they toured with Goodie Mob.

I remember liking GM a lot at the show, but for some reason I never kept up on them. They might have some great songs that I don't know about.

Yeah, I wasn't feeling it at first, But then the sing grew on me. I got the CD now too. That Transformer song is bananas! I don't hate it, But I don't love it either.
It could've used a little more Cowbell!
