Are there any Glow-In-The-Dark Transformer Toys? Or even ones with just parts that glow? And I mean old school style glow. None of that new fangled LED push button stuff. :lol

... weird that you mention it. I just got my glow-in-the-dark WST Seekers (KO of the Smallest Transforming Starscream, with some remolded elements) last night.

There are also glow-in-the-dark Smallest Prime and Ultra Magnus figures from the same guy.

There are also glow in the dark KO Classics Seekers in roughly Rainmaker colors.

As for official ones, the only ones I know of are a handful of repaints in the Iron Man line of Crossovers with painted Unibeams or repulsers.

Weirdly enough, the Burger King DOTM stuff! Soundwave and Ratchet glow. Soundwave only has tiny bits that glow. But Since Ratchet is already green, he REALLY lights up. Perty darn cool if you ask me.

I've been championing the concept of glow-in-the-dark Transformers figures for years, either glowing plastics or glowing paint apps. Seems like it would be a really simple and fun gimmick but it just doesn't ever seem to happen apart from a few apparently rare occasions. Maybe the cost is too much compared to normal figures when it comes to just swapping plastic and paint types. Would make repaints more interesting though if they had glow-in-the-dark molded parts and paint apps. And glowing strips on WFC/FOC figures.

Imagine all those figures looking at you in the dark with their glowing eyes as you sleep...

I think glow in the dark eyes would be a great idea. Of course it might creep my wife out.

If they ever come out with some sort of Prime Terrorcon figures (the generics, not Cliffjumper or Skyquake), I'd love to see some glow in the dark paint apps for 'em.

Transparent parts might be cool if molded in glow-in-the dark plastics, especially 'energon' weapons. And car headlights. Or the transparent parts on Prime figures, especially Cyberverse Commanders.

Hasbro would make a whole new fortune if they did that to the WFC/FOC toys. They did it to one of the Crossovers Iron Man toys, so it's not like they haven't done such a thing.

They need a new gimmick other than "gigantic gun that becomes an even more gigantic gun".

I know of 3 or 4 figures that glow under Black Light and they are quite stunning when you turn the regular lights off at night and turn the black light on.

One right off the top of my head is Masterpiece Wheeljack, that thing is Sick Awesome.I think you can buy black lights at Walmart for like $8.00 to $10.00 for about an 18 inch complete fixture.I know of others but just can't think of which ones. You should invest in 1 or 2.Oh and these don't actually glow-in-the-dark except with the black light.Later.

For anyone skilled with a paintbrush, I did just see at my hardware store cans of glow in the dark paint. They also had spray cans of metallic paint so one could, in theory, make their own lucky draw figure

Yep...both the Autobot and Decepticon versions glow in the dark.

Happy Meal Armada Optimus Prime's forearms glow in the dark.

IIRC, there was also a wave of Kabaya Transformers Milk Caramel toys that glowed in the dark.

It's a little surprising that Hasbro never used this as a G1 gimmick. They even passed on the hologram gimmick, reserving that for Visionaries. And the reflector stickers craze...

But boy, we DID get the neon, black light, hot color craze in G2...and the gross, horror look of McFarlene in late Beast Wars and Beast Machines.
