so TRU stocked tons of this guy (HA Skids)and now can't get rid of them even at half off, hlj has them at 75% off japanese retail price and still no body wants it. i hope the purchasing agent at TRU (probably the same guy who purchased all the mudflaps) gets personally kicked in the shin by TRU cfo. was alec baldwin the sales agent at hasbro? cuz it takes BRASS BALLS to sell truck loads of skids to TRU after the dud that is (tuner) mudflap.

    coffee's for closers only.

I would be more than happy to take a set of steak knives to that figure.

Looks like there was a legitimate point there, but the poster ran it through whatever program it is that writes spam messages to post it.

Can't say I identify with him, though. HA Skids is a great toy, and he never shelf-warmed around my parts. Restocked constantly, yes, but moved steadily.

the point is TRU should rethink their purchasing strategy with hasbro instead of just taking in bulk whatever hasbro wanted to push at the time, HA SKids is just an example, but since this thread was moved from general discussion to toy discussion, i guess the point is lost.

The OP's local TRU has boat loads of HA Skids and they aren't moving. Hasbro should have know 6 months before it was released that HA Skids wouldn't sell based on his local TRU and Tuner mudflap... so basically a rant.

The lack of grammatical structure and odd rambling references says otherwise.

And you do not understand how North America retail works. At all.

Wouldn't TRU make decisions on the line rather than some random figure? I mean, HA BB sold pretty well. So for someone ordering Skids, it makes sense. And perhaps your TRU is the odd one out?

on the line makes sense, but other than the occasional single bumblebee i've never seen other HA figure at that store, seems like they exclusively stocked HA Skids and no other HA assortments. they had 40-50 HA Skids on shelf before xmas, now they still have 20ish for $17, and still not moving.

Heck if they had HA Skids on clearance here I would defiantly buy, but I defiantly want a HA Mudflap too, no more than full price on Mudflap, but I can't pass up on a HA I don't have if he were on clearance here.

The last time I went to TRU, about 2 weeks ago, they had a shit load of HA Skids, all for full price. I think at this point, anyone who wanted him has him.
