My wife likes Bulkhead and now more recently Grimlock. She watches the show with me on Saturdays. Oh she also likes Jazz.
Okay, let's not get carried away here! You can't change Transformers into Ben 10 or Teen Titans & then call it the "best". Animated doesn't even look like "Transformers". It looks like "Transformers done in the same old style as all the other Cartoon Network shows because they can't possibly come up with a new style". You can't call a direct rip-off of Teen Titans the "best" Transformers has to offer. There is far greater Transformers stuff that came out in the past 25 years than Animated could ever hope to be.
I got my daughter into transformers.....she has figures from beast wars, G1, the live-action movie, and we even scrounged up the $10 to get her a Blackarachnia from animated. I do have to say that we've had more fun together with that Blackarachnia than any other toy. The grapnel hook is what makes the toy and we've spent alot of fun times scaring her mother with it!!
I will venture to get carried away. Fortunately people watch TV shows for more than their look and style, otherwise, DAMN...... That seems to be your only argument as to why this can't be called best... because of the style. You haven't mentioned characterization or storyline or pacing.... just style. Not enough to convince me to not get carried away, so away I will get carried.
Yeah, it's great when your significant other supports your hobby. My wife's favorite character on Animated is Bumblebee. Stabedy death!
I still get looks some times buying TFs (a lot of "is a gift" questions and surprise I'm a female fan, mainly in collectors' shops) but there's a LOT more girls info TFs now then 10 years ago. Animated was clearly written to appeal to fans in general, as well as pull in kids of both genders. Get over the shock, boys. Chicks dig giant robots.
When I buy TF's in the toy store, they wrap them as gifts, without asking. My friends think this is funny XD Well, I can surprise myself at home... Girls like dinosaurs too (A)

Yeah, they think we're moms looking for toys for our so-called kids not collectors or scalpers. We look more normal being in the TF toy isle that the guys sometimes. ;-) Dinosaurs are okay, but DINOBOTS rule!
