I have been talking to a girl on myspace that i shared a bunch of photo clases with in college.(we both have BFAs in Art/photography) I have always had a huge crush on her. I havent talked to her in 4 years, but we have been talking back and forth for about a week and a half. (im pretty sure she realizes that I still like her) I was a little shy in college:banghead:

She has a boyfriend that she lives with, but she hasnt said anything about him yet. (I saw his link on her page) She is now getting a Tcomm degree and will be graduating with a second bachelors degree in a year. Im trying to get her to move from the midwest to a western state, where I live now (for obvious reasons). She says that she wants out of the city that she has lived in for 7 years, but she has a ton of friends there.

    Help?

Waste of energy. There's plenty of fish in the sea. That one is taken.

Yeah man. You'll only end up becoming "the friend" and she'll end up bitching about him to you but never leave him for you.

It's a hard fact to accept when you have a crush on someone, but if it's only a crush, then you'll be fine. Plenty of girls out there and the less you look for one the more likely you'll stumble across the one for you (at least that's how I snagged my wife back in the day).

She uses Myspace, and studies photography, and has a boyfriend.

    Pass, man.

What if I said she is the most gorgeous girl Ive ever laid eyes on, and we have a ton of stuff in common? More so than anyone else I have ever met.

Trust me, she's just as shallow and worthless as every other human being out there. But if you go after them you won't get beat up, seriously.

    Try, fail and get drunk.

Drop it, find one without a boyfriend - pining for someone is a waste of time and energy.

The truth is in here, EBK. You don't need to do your own research on this one.

If trying is the option chosen, then at least be upfront with her from the very beginning. Get rejected from the outset instead of wasting your time and prolonging the inevitable.

I'd follow these guys advice. It just not worth it, she will never leave the guy. Trust me, I've been there and I wasted two years of my life. Trouble always follows and your left to deal with it. Move on there will be someone better.

I say go for it, but be prepared to be hurt, both mentally and physically, as the girl may not like you and her boyfriend may also be a little pissed that you are taking his girl away.

But if you really (really, REALLY) like this girl, go for it.

She's not worth it. They're all spawn from Satan, so don't waste your time. No one woman (demon seed) will make your life any less of a living hell than the next. Cheers! :thumb

In the end of the day, you need to make up your own mind - is she really worth the trouble people are warning you about? If you feel she is, then all you can do is trust your judgment

Just don't get your hopes up, just play it by ear, see what happens.

If I were you I wouldn't get into the business of breaking up relationships though. You wouldn't want another guy to step in and take your place now would you?
