One of my favorite vehicles from GIJoe is the Toss'n'Cross Bridgelayer tank. Bridgelayer tanks in general are just neat and goes back to a love I have for the Corp of Engineers. I knew an old doctor that was in the corp and he would tell of infantry bragging about marching with Patton across Europe, while he was the one building the bridges so they could do just that.

Anyways. Actually started this figure before the Cobra BAT, but just got sidetracked, annoyed by pollyscale paints, and was busy finishing my basement. Well in the last two weeks I finsihed him up. The base figure is Dropshot and the bridge parts came from a Revell M-48 Bridgelayer model. The decals were done by me. I tried to match them up to the GIJoe Toss'n'Cross giving it the same number and some of the same positions.

I need a bigger picture area, that bridge is really long.

I absolutely love this. Amazing idea and execution for (also) one of my favorite G.I. Joe vehicles.

Dude, if I could find you I'd come and give you a big hug. That's just pure all out sweetness. The brush work is beautiful, but he REALLY looks like a Toss N Cross!!! You rock, my man.

Why doesn't Hasbro come up with this stuff. There designers get paid to do it. There all fired and you can take there places. Great job.

:lol  The TF-Joe Crossover/Human-Alliance potential is virtually limitless but all we've gotten so far is one un-produced G2 figure? *shakes head*

Nevertheless, those are 3 kick-ass crossovers Boggs! :thumb  Can I request some pics with some 25th Anniv Joes? You know - for comparison/interaction shots?

Yet another cool and imaginative idea that Hasbro needs to steal from Radicons like you!
    Great job!

that looks outstanding, man. I think the only way you could've possibly done any better would've been if you could somehow TF the bridge into something that the robot could use, like a battle station or turret or something!

Cooool. I've been wanting to do something like this for ages. I had no idea there were model kits of the actual bridge layers, though. That definitely helps me out. :D  (I wanted to do it where the parts of the bridge ended up as big ol' arm shields, though.)

I really struggled with that because that is what I originally had intended on trying to do. With the way I have it now, I know that it can at least be done so if I were to do another one, I may be able to do something like making the halves come apart.

At most right now I have them as a shield that he can duck behind like in the pictures. The length of the bridge does not help either in terms of attaching back to him.

I'm just happy to have it finished in its current state.
