Guttur gets a reissue in the near future. Hopefully with improved hips. Therefore another Grassor run could be real.
Is there anything they could improve in a reissue? Maybe put all of the extras of the metallic into the box?

I emailed Giga asking if I could buy just the silver thighs from metallic Grassor, and they told me, and I quote,

"Hello Mike, yes we plan to make chrome horns and thighs too, but they are not available yet."

 

Interesting. maybe waiting for a reissue is the best way.

I know. But Grassor is sold out with worldwide delivery. Only one is available for buyers in the USA.

 

Seems like all the Gigapower dinos are going to be re-issued with improvements? If/when that happens I’ll go all-in on the chrome versions.

 

I haven't heard of any improvements, no, but Guttur is getting reissued soon and Grassor will probably get reissued later this year.

Yeah, but the hips were already improved on Guttur between the original metallic and the original chrome release. I don't think they're making any changes for the upcoming reissue.

As for the extra accessories, like chrome horns and thighs, as someone who already owns Grassor and plans to buy Giga's Swoop and Grimlock I'd rather they release them with with one of those two or make them available as a sold-separately upgrade kit than reward people for sitting on the fence with accessories the people who already bought their toys want.

 

They need to do a reissue of both the first two releases

 

I‘m new to the Dinobots and want to buy them all. So either way with more accessories with a re-release or as a bonus with upcoming releases would be fine for me. Separate upgrade kits for other customers would be fair.

 

Guttur (the first one) is getting reissued this summer. Grassor (2nd one) is rumored to be getting a reissue later this year or early next, possibly after their Swoop comes out.

 

Given there are no improvements, I ordered a chrome Grassor off eBay last night.

 

I have a chrome grassor and I hope they fix the tail breaking issue. I am not a hamhand and the chrome tail snapped off like nothing just like in Bobby skullfaces review.

I emailed gigapower when it happened a few months ago, still waiting on the replacement part . I follow-up and they acknowledge but not available yet

 

Received my chrome Grassor today. First impressions are positive, although the leg ratchets and figers are noticeably looser than Graviter (although the hand slot holds better).

 

I would love to buy one. But with the known problems like marks on the chrome of the head, breaking tails and loose fingers waiting for a re-issue could be the better way. The ones which could be bought now could be the subpar ones that people returned.

 

I know! I hear they used plastic in their toys. The metallic ones have no chrome in it, and the chrome ones are too shiny. Also, I didn't see any Fans Toys logo on the box. Must be a knock off.

FYI... I'm joking. Possible issue on the returned dinos front. I would try to buy from an established company that has good service relations, but that's just my opinion. The way I look at it, life goes on (and quickly), I would rather it go on with my giga dinobots in my possession. Last I checked, they looked damn good.
