Metallic Guttur doesn't have hip issues if you retrofit the new design hip replacements that come with Metallic Grassor. Rock solid.

 

Yeah....but you need to take the figure apart to do that, and my left hand would never allow me to do something like that. It gives me enough trouble transforming anything more complex than a Legends figure as it is.

Agree with Destron. The hip issues weren't widespread. Mine was a day 1 copy and had no hip problems. I upgraded anyway by asking giga for new hips, then upgraded once more when metallic grassor included the new hip assembly.

Really if you were in with the metallic versions from the get go... you'd be taken care of from an accessory and upgrade standpoint.

 

Damn, mine shipped on the 20th and still shows "in transit" from Beijing. Tired of being told that it's normal to take that long when everyone else he's shipped to has gotten theirs.

 

It's not him at that point. It's your postal service.....or customs. I hate customs.

 

I know it's out of his control. Did yours ever actually show in customs or did it just show up?

 

I’m guessing you’re in the 905 area code. Mine hit Vancouver customs for 1day. That’s acceptable turnaround time. Then CanPost Richmond and no movement on tracking for over a week. Then bam. Delivered yesterday.

April? Damn, I hope we see the updated Gaudenter by then at least.

 

After seeing the chrome, I was seriously questioning having gone with metallic on the other two, but now after seeing the picts of metallic Graviter, all doubts are erased and I'm glad I went the way I did. The chrome is beautiful, but something about the look of the metallic edges it to the front.

 

I'm really happy with Graviter. Sure the coloured paint is not the same, but it still fits in with the X FT versions, which is what I wanted to achieve. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying Stomp X too. Now don't ask me if this puppy is going to fit in my display cabinet!

 

Thanks for the update. I'm thinking I might try adding something to the base to fill the gap and stop the droopage, or just stick with using the bottom toe to keep the hand propped up.

Either way, that's still not enough to stop this from being my absolute favorite giga dibot thus far. Which is ironic as hell because Sludge was always my least favorite dinobot but as a toy figure this thing is freaking magnificent.

 

Ditto, especially the flames. Hoping they'll eventually be offered separately at some point.

 

What about in bot mode? Still fit with FT? Got pic?

 

So it looks like metallic will have calm blue eyed face. When mine gets here, does anybody want to swap? I want red eyed calm face.

 

I don't have a pic sorry. I'm keeping these in dino mode because I have a full set of the regular FT versions displayed in bot mode. While Graviter is a bit more stylised than Stomp I think it would still fit in.

 

Sure. Do you want to swap just the calm heads (so you end up with two red eyes and I end up with two blue), or both heads (so you end up with red calm, blue angry and I end up with blue calm, red angry)? Either way is fine with me.
