No it doesn't transform, its the alternate model that can be made from the set, the instructions are online at the lego exo force homepage. All the sets have 2 models and some have combined models.

I think it was Masamune Shirow that was the first use the insect like walking tanks in the Appleseed manga

 

Those Exo Force sets are actually pretty neat. Just wish the site would update their alternate instructions.

They have some pretty cool robots they can pilot, and the good guy figs are dorky, but the villain Lego figs are some of the coolect Lego dudes ever

You can make mini gunformers with these guys and attach them to vehicles as cannons etc

Made a mech clone outta this one

 

I've actually already bought the Striking Venom (scrapmetal looking one) but have not had the oppurtunity to assemble it. I want to eventually pose it with 2 red Scrapmetals and 2 yellow ones.

 

I can see Scrapmetal in that, but where do you see Rumble?

 

Rumbl is scrapmetal's name in Japan.

 

Okay, this explains where the Lego Nightwing's hair came from.

Ahhhhhhhhh. I've only gotten up to ep 32 of Galaxy Force so far, and they haven't named those things yet.

 

I bought the one in the first messege when I was in Vienna.
It's name's Striking venom and it's a mobile command center and assault vehicle. Bloody thing is huge, I'm forced to sleep in the couch because the thing has occupied my bed.
It's one of the largest and most complex lego sets I have ever built.
FEATURES:
Rapidfire disclauncher. The transluscent tube ontop has a tab which when pulled back and released knocks a small orange disc a few inches.

Light up robot gattling gun turret. A robot has been fused to the robot with freakin gattlingguns for arms, light tubing causes the robots eyes to light up and a knob underneath the whole thing spins the turret.

Robot deplyment arms. There's arms on each leg with a iron drone (brown robot) attached to them, the arms can be lowered and the robot can be deplyed.

Half of the robot leader Meca-1. Yup due to a cheap design in the cockpitt area only half of the robots gilden leader is included. they skipped the legs and attached the torso directly onto the floor.

Yup the thing is huga and with a resonable amount of fun gimmicks. If you're a fan of exo-force and are ready to hand away a hefty sum of money this one can't dissapoint you.

Now I'm of to LEGO and claim my money for advertising

 

I've got the Stealth hunter, Grand titan, Fire vulture & Thunder fury! Some of the best sets I have next to BIONICLE & my lego batmobile.

 

Those things are what built to rule should have been.
