There's a certain beauty in eyes. That one, whatever organism it's from, is a perfect show of how they can have such a vastly simple appearance and yet maintain intricacies and perform such a complex task as vision.
But that's just me gushing my heart out.

I guess this just adds to the fact that Florida is a weird state. I wonder what it belonged to.

    Okie dokie.

Wow...liked the comment, it's unusual to find the eye without finding another body part. :D

    Yeah, suuuuure.

If it starts crawling, better let Joel, Tom, and Crow know about it. ;)

That's a pretty big eye, but does it really qualify as "Giant"? I was expecting beachball sized or larger.

Maybe for one of the smaller whales. Could also be from a squid. Probably a bit big for most fish though.

It's....weirdly beautiful. Probably from a squid, or a small whale.

Once they get that thing to the lab, they should be able to narrow down the search pretty quickly, since the structure of eyes varies WIDELY across different species. I wouldn't be surprised is there are marine biologists who see the pictures and just say "yup, thats from <CREATURE>"

Well, the largest recorded eyes so far are from the Colossal Squid, and those are roughly Soccer ball sized.

Obviously the eye came from a Dinosaur that got punched really hard by a green and purple giant.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, shame on you and get off these boards noob.
