Now that I think about it since we are seeing the 25th Anniversary figures now has Hasbro canceled wave 4 of the DTC figures? In some ways that would suck, I liked Airtight, but it seems more likely now since it has been almost a year since wave 3 shipped from HTS, my order for them from HTS shipped 2/20/06.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: If they make Flint, I'm out whatever he costs times 25. Cue Mr. Fairborne. And, I think we could get the entirety of the Cobra Hierarchy here. Throw in a Viper, a Cobra Soldier, a Crimson Guard, and 8 of Cobra's big guns, and it'll all be perfect. Cobra dudes I hope we'll see: Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Major Bludd, Firefly, Zartan, Xamot, and Tomax. I'm hopin' they'll keep Serpentor out of it. I was never a huge fan of the idea. G.I. Joes: Flint (duh), Lady Jaye, Snake Eyes, Shipwreck, Roadblock, Gung Ho, Alpine, Bazooka, General Hawk, Doc, and Ace. Or Breaker. And here I've been SO good about not starting any new collections these past couplea' years. Unfortunately for my wallet, these are just too cool NOT to get. Have fun!!!
Two words.. COBRA FROGMAN!!! he's always been my favorite Joe Figure.. One of these days i'm going to nut up and get on MOC on ebay.. whenever i can find one. I'd love to see an updated version of EELS.. cobra frogman rulez!
That's the best Scarlett I've seen in a long time. it's actually decently proportioned. The jointing wrecks some of the natural curves, but you can cleary see she's got a femining build here.

hmm, kinda disappointed actually. I mean yeah they're more posable than the Joes we're used to, and I definitely like that. But they're a little weird. Baroness is too skinny and her face is too plain (the hair sculpt is very inspired though) I dislike Cobra Commander for the same reason I dislike Scarlett, that costume doesnt work for me. I prefer his VvV Euro look Cobra Trooper is cool, no real complaints there Destro is also very good. His legs look a little skinny but it's not a big deal. Actually, I dont like his head. It should be chrome and more featureless, like the original. Considering how close the others are to their first versions, you'd expect his to be easier to duplicate. Duke and Gung Ho are good but I dont really care about the Joes in general Snake Eyes is cool. It actually looks like they blended his 82 and 85 looks together, but I'm very surprised he doesnt have his 85 visor. I'll probably get him. All in all, I cant see myself being a completist with this line. But if they make a Firefly, I'll definitely buy that.
Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, and Destro all look awesome. Baroness looks like crap. Snake Eyes looks ok. Roadblock looks pretty badass. I wonder if they will make a Cobra Commander variant or something with the hood! And on my wish list: Serpentor, Zartan, Crimson Guard, Tomax and Xamot, B.A.T. and of course...Vipers!
I don't know if I'll get them but I like them. I can quibble -Baronness' head looks odd (probably the glasses), Destro's head is too small, etc - but overall these are fantastic designs. I like that they are going with the "first appearance" designs. Much as I love the later SE and SS designs, it's great to see the classics get a nod (esp SE in his pre-ninja glory). Hell, I hate Gung Ho. I mean I really disliked that character and figure. But this one is just beautiful.
Wow, check out the Ma Deuce that Roadblock is carrying. It even has the Tripod. Hopefully that's removeable, as it'll look a tad off with it on all the time. They're all gorgeous.
