Maybe they're the 48-page jobs like Declassified? 2 regular size issues seems kinda scant.

    they're double-sized [probably 48 pages per issue].

    thus only 2 issues

    Confusion abounds, apparently.

EDIT: Ah. Josh responded while I was assembling my cut-and-paste fest. I'd wager he knows the real answer. So, nevermind. :)

I'm not digging the artwork for the covers, especially the washed out colors.

Cool, so will these last two issues actually act as a ending for this crossover or will there be something in the future for this franchise. I did enjoy the crossover, it's just the whole GI Joe and Tf needs to come to a end it been far to ungoing.

    yay for pretenders...

Boooo for them being lazy pokemon-ish implementations in a GIJOE cross-over. I am sorry, these GIJOE crossovers are getting just really bad.

But I love me my pretenders.

    Andrew Wildman r0x0rs.

I actually like the DDP crossovers.
They have been like good episodes of the cartoons.

And they have been much better than both the main Joe series at DDP as well as the TF minis at IDW too.

TFvsGIJOE series 2 and 3 were god awful. The time travel plot was akward and poorly rushed. The art was equally as bad.

I mean, the GIRLIEBOT fantasies by a dinosaur was my popeye moment... "I can't stands no mores!!!"

I love the pretenders, but Devil's Due jumped the shark... Anyone who thinks robot dinosaurs fantasizing about 'shenanigans' with humanoid female robots... well... that series can't possibly be considered 'well-written'

Girliebot fantasies? I must have missed that.

I've really enjoyed the DD crossovers. This would be a good way to wrap it up (but sadly in only two issues). They are just a lot of fun. They're not overly dark and broody or too corny. They're the most fun comics I've read in a long time----especially the third installment.

Somehow, Bludgeon just seems to fit with the whole Cobra-La mystique. I can't quite put my finger on why but he just does.

The time travel plot was a little rushed.
It was a little convenient that the Transformers just unconsiously scanned vehicle modes that suited their persona for the time era.
All that being said -I loved it!

Maybe it was just that I was coming off the Dreamwave Joe\TF crossover where I stared at every panel trying to discern which body part of which character I was looking at. (What was equally fun was trying to find the source of all the shadows over every character -especially when they were outside.)
But I loved the DDP crossover for what it was (to me): well constructed, goofy fun.

Now, not to be contrary, but I just looked back through the series and I don't see the Dinobot\Humanoid female robot connection you mentioned.

Did I miss something with Lady Jaye?
    Seriously, I don't see it.

DD TFvsGIJOE Volume 3: Issue #5

Overkill the cassette Dino has a fantasy about him and a harem of 'cyberfembots'

It was supposed to be hoakey, it ended up creepy.
