Sounds fucking great to me...!
10 minutes seem a little short.
Neat! Sounds like a Joe show I'd enjoy.
So, can somebody explain to me why Transformers cant get something like this?
True, but so were the Clone Wars cartoons on Cartoon Network and we all saw how much they can cram into a few minutes. Now I want to see a video of this promo.....off to YouTube......
If enougth people don't buy into this to warrent more then 60 minuites, heads should roll.
Well he is writing that Castlevania OVA as well, so its not unheard of.
GI Joe tends to have an "older" fanbase than Transformers. That said, and to speculate and ONLY SPECULATE, I would not be surprised if this is something that could potentially lead to a similar piece of Transformers media in the future.
No lasers? Gay.
because gi joe could only get 60 minutes total of this "adult" oriented gi joe series lol
quite frankly, not sure if i'd like it like this.
i enjoyed the lasers
besides do you remember what happened the last time transformers had something adult oriented?
While it sounds cool, I wonder why they are not having a more kid friendly version as well. If the movie is coming out, there will be a lot more younger fans into GIJoe in 2009. Seems Hasbro would want a cartoon that could be aired on Saturday mornings instead of something parents might not want the kids watching.
these are only 5 minute long episodes, coming out direct to dvd i bet
i suspect hasbro has a full new cartoon planed to come out shortly before, or after the release of the gi joe movie, for the kids, maybe animated by the same studio as tfa or something.
that is the one i'm looking forward to
Even though I'm no Joe fan, I like the sound of that. (I hope it's better than Sigma 6, and less of the anime stuff)
I had quite a few GI Joe/Action Force toys as a kid (not any more. Tf's now) and saw a few of the cartoons and this really sounds good.
Really hope Hasbro does the same with Transformers.
Sounds cool to me.
Another non-Joe fan, but that does sound rather awresome, even if short. Plus, can't go wrong with Warren Ellis.
I'd check it out.. that's for sure.
Sounds like it could be pretty cool.
Re-named thread, moved to N&R, and FP'd. thanks.
