well last year i was at my cousin's house, and my mom told me to go to bed. i got into the bed and i looked up into the mirror and saw my horrified face through the transparent scaryness of a dead guy. i ran out to the living room and watched discovery channel untill my cousin went to bed. true story. if you have had any weird shightings like this one then be happy to put it here. i just thought it'd be cool if TFW had a thread like this.
My mother once saw a UFO driving to work one morning. And I once saw the "woman in white" floating down the railroad tracks one dark and intoxicated night.
I haven't shared this with anyone, but since only 2 of you on here actually KNOW me, well, here goes... TRUE STORY: On one recent occasion (probably 6 months ago), I actually was attacked in the night by the sheets from a bed I was sleeping in. At approximately 3 a.m., they tried to wrap around my neck and strangle me. There was no entity or shadow or anything, just sheets, alive, trying to kill me. Great. Luckily, I was awoken by it and held them back from doing so. The sheets actually exerted force against my arms as I held them back, grabbing and pushing them down towards my hips. I had both my hands out, pushing the sheets down and away, and it honestly felt like someone else's hands were on the other side trying to push back against mine. The event lasted for a good 5 minutes. I didn't think of getting out of bed since I wanted to sleep, and was pissed that the ghost was disturbing my slumber. This bastard was gonna pay. So I decided to fight it off and beat them at their game. The ghost put up a fight but was no match for me. Since then, the event has left me a believer in the unknown. It actually left me excited and felt like I could take on anything, rather than scared and fearing for my own safety. I know it's strange, but since that night I've wanted to actually go looking for ghosts, and anything that may be regarded as mysterious and cryptic, face them, and find out what they are doing in this world.
No no, I actually could move, see my clock, and could let go of the sheets. That's how I know it lasted from 3:00 a.m. to 3:05 a.m. I watched the minutes go by while this happened. When I did let go of my sheets, they actually tried to push up towards my neck and against my chest. I had to grab them again and pull back down. After it stopped I sat there in bed and waited to see if it would happen again. Nothing happened so I went back to sleep, hoping for the best.
Not night terror, sleep paralysis, which I've experienced before. Your brain wakes up from sleep, but your body doesn't. It's quite frightening.
Oh, these threads never end well... What Insane Galvatron meant is that he's got a spirit inside him, a soul. Same thing as a ghost. Tho I'm also sure he meant *more* than that, but that's the basic, non-religious part we can talk about here. You did well, netkid. You didn't give into fear and defended yourself. Humans have more power than most think we do, and the first step to using it is not giving in to fear no matter what is happening. Good show. --Moony
I used to experience that a lot back in the day. Weirdest feeling ever. I once saw a ghost hiding behind Ted Danson's curtains.
When a person tells people about his ghostly experience and claims it is a true story and even if it is, people will joke about it.
