What the title says.
Edit: Real ghost experiences btw.
This one time, I saw a ghost in a library. At first, it looked like a little old lady, then it screamed and turned into a demon. Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz and Egon Spengler all ran out of the library. I don't know what happened to the ghost.
Jim Craddock's debut on 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold' was amazing. Equally epic was Ghost Prime's 'HE TELL ME' thread.
Ghost? I never actually watched it. I heard it was sort of a chick movie.
I enjoy Ghost Hunters on Sci-fi. It's the best comedy show on television.
Cool job trolling a possibly good thread people!
Realpost cliff notes:
Saw some shadow people in a funeral home during a funeral, and had a closet door fly open in a hotel.
I used to live in a haunted house. I was 4 or 5 at the time. There was a group suicide in the basement. Apparently, a few people hanged themselves. I didn't know this as a kid but, I'm told, I would never go into the basement alone. I would also walk around certain areas, like something was there. I'm told I'd tell my mom all about the people that were down there.
And he specified real ghost experiences where?
Sometimes, I see things moving when there's no one there. Then I remember that it's dark, I'm tired, that the human brain looks for patterns even where none exists, and that there's no such thing as ghosts. This is normally followed by figuring out what I saw or that it was just my eyes playing tricks on me.
I hate it when people go to some place haunted and expect to have an encounter. Just because someone saw a ghost (Or possibly what they think may have been a ghost) doesn't mean you'll see it too.
The possibilities of seeing the same ghost is like walking in public and coming across someone wearing the exact same clothing as you are, from shirt to shoes.
Personally I'm just skeptical about the whole subject. Science can't confirm nor deny the existence. Maybe humans have some sort of afterlife. It's possible.
They're usually laying around for you to ride and slaughter grunts with. They're somewhat effective against hunters too, but you need to be good at strafing.
I met a ghost once.
It had yellow armor, levitated, was invulnerable, and managed to stick me from behind.
Not really, no. I can't tell you how many times I've been to Myrtles Plantation more times that I can count (and I've been going since childhood). Never saw a single thing that would suggest the plantation is haunted. I kinda take it back cause my buddy's old house is located on land that use to be part of the plantation, and every summer his house would just fester with house flys. Go to his neighbor's house across the street and nothing. Still, I wouldn't chalk that up to anything supernatural...just creepy. Playing the odds, I should have eventually saw something.
The Myrtles Plantation
Ghost recon was a horrible game... oops wrong board.
I like the ones from Space, who go Coast to Coast.
Four years ago I visited the Appleton Manor up in Appleton, NY. The Manor was featured on Ghost Hunters I think this past Feburary on Sci-Fi.
The manor is now a winery and it was during the day when I went. The owner was telling me stories about the family strange deaths and she said about every Thursday afternoon at 3pm, the french doors would fly open. But it was a Tuesday when I was there.
But the owner did'nt mentioned the french doors to Jason and Grant of Ghost Hunters, plus she told them several stories about the Manor where she did'nt tell me.
A lady I know who lives about three miles from Manor sent me newspaper clippings in the mail of that episode.
BTW, when I was there, I took photos inside of the Manor. But nothing appear strange in the photos.
went to visit my cousin's grave about 2 years back and there was this old woman in white. i went back to my car, realizing i was the only car there. i turned around and she was gone.
That reminds me of the story of Resurrection Mary of Bachelor's Grove Cemetery in Chicago.
i got to look this up in the morning, can you give a summary?
I think this was done a few months back. Like I sorta remember the thread name even being something like "Do you believe in ghosts?" or summat.
Separate names with a comma.
