I’m not talking about cigarette smoke. My parents house burnt down the other week and all my old star wars figures were at their place. They were undamaged, but smell like smoke because of sitting in the smoke filled house.

Anyone know how to get the smell out? The figures themselves were written off because they are classes as kids toys and not safe for kids to handle, but they still have sentimental value…

Anyone want to buy some smoky old star wars figures??

I think you can soak them in dish soap and warm water for a few hours and it will take the smoke smell out.

I've seen the same process using bleach, but that could damage the toys.

Check the cleaning aisle of your local wal-mart, they may have a specialized cleaner for just that.
