Any details on Prime Mode at all?

 

The guide is pretty weak. I picked it up on Thursday. It gives all of the multiplayer challenges and stuff like that though, which is pretty sweet.

I only know it's available after you max all four classes in multiplayer(lv 100).You get a special icon by your user name too.

 

Yep, that's me...stopped playing RotF a long time ago...might not even pick up War for Cybertron - it's got no splitscreen...you know about Escalation mode which is very similar to Nazi zombie mode in WaW.Now imagine Nazi zombies without splitscreen: boooring....

 

I played Nazi Zombies for hundreds of hours without splitscreen.
Haven't played a splitscreen game since I had a Nintendo 64. o.o

If you're that desperate to play with other people in the same room instead of over a headset, why not just have your friend bring over their gaming system. Both game consoles are capable of recieving wireless signal so you can be in the same place and on the same connection. Flatpanel TVs are incredibly easy to transport because they weigh next to nothing. I've done it numerous times with friends. It beats the ever loving crap out of sharing a screen and having less viewspace and worse graphics. Just like an old-school LAN party on PC, which I also used to do all the time.

Online multiplayer is superior in almost every way to split screen. There's no reason why you can't be in the same room and both be online on two systems, if that's what you want, and online opens up possibilities like playing with friends from college who live on the other side of the world. Hell, there's Xbox Live parties in freakin' Afghanistan.

 

Who knows.
Maybe when some DLC comes out, it might have that option, though very unlikely however.

 

Hmmm....I'll have to check out that guide. But from the sound of it, it really doesn't tell you more than would know from playing the game itself and/or going to the official site.

Does it have the Insignia locations? I've played through the campaigns twice now (working on trophies), and I've stumbled across a few more in a second playthrough. But I know there will be one or two left that I might end up missing.

 

Still going thru the guide but did find these:
Prime Mode. Like Prestige in COD it resets everything and you get a special icon next to your name

The higher the difficulty the more ammo it takes to kill enemies. That's what the guide says.
