ive said this before but i mean it this time. Just sold off my insecticons and a few other things (selling off my chugs too). Getting Grinder just to complete the Dibots set and waiting on Invicta and I’m gonna have to bow out. My twins are gonna be two in three weeks. I knew I was on borrowed time. I have every character I could ever want with a few exceptions so I’m gonna take my leave and enjoy what I was able to accomplish over the last 12 years. I’ll still be lurking and I have my eye on the kfc Elita and am holding out for Steel Lock and maybe a MP style Devcon but other than that, I’m done! Unless I see something I really need:D

Good luck! I was forced out of the game for four years due to money and health concerns. I thought I'd dip my toe back in this year. Now I've spent thousands in the last few months alone and will probably be murdered by my loving family before the year is out.

I would only come back for Spark toys Steel lock, Any MP Devcon, and Fembots. But this buying everything on a whim has to stop. Got shit that has no place in the collection. Too much of it, time to trim the fat. Who wants some chugs?

Focus is crucial otherwise you aren't a collector, you're a hoarder.

I'll never understand the mentality of buying shit to then store. That's getting into hoarding and not healthy.

Hey, good luck, family first. But maybe, you should scale back/slow down on what you buy. If your finances allow for you, start a flash sale fund, save a $ amount that does not interfere with life and buy only when your fund reaches the amount of the piece, or you have x amount saved buy during a flash sale. Also, include you kids into your hobby, but I understand where you are coming from, children are expensive and you have two at the same time.

As much as I like to think my collecting is coming to an end,I can say that the chances are slim I will ever be calliing it quits.I have seen too many Great Figures (and ones we've yet to see) to ever be satisfied if it ain't in my collection.Besides what's the point of living if you can't spend your money on what you like?.

I stopped collecting when my twin boys were born 5 years ago. Somehow I now have an additional 250+ figures. Best of luck.

I feel you, my little one is turning 2 soon as well and I honestly just haven't had the time to enjoy my collection since he was born (I have no idea how you do it with twins). I've bought stuff over that time and still not had the chance to pull it out of the box like FT Omega for instance. I have all of FT's movie bots but I don't think I will ever transform them based on what others have said about the transformation. While I love the way they look on the shelf together I don't think I can justify keeping them if I can't transform them in less than 10-15 min. It's just too time consuming to transform a lot of these 3P MP figures. I've bought a few legends figures in the last few months and those I can at least transform quickly. So I am thinking I will refocus to legends, selling most of my CHUGs (Just as Hasbro finally shows us a decent voyager scale Megatron, Shockwave and Soundwave to fill in the holes in my CHUG collection) and just keep the MPs I really like. I moved recently too and don't have much space (display or storage), but I recently put up some IKEA Besta units and have 5 of those I can put figures in. I think I will put my favs in those and will have to sell the rest. As someone mentioned in another thread I read today, selling TFs is a real pain and is time consuming, so I dread doing this.

I've sold off almost all my mp's, and I'm probably going to sell all the chug stuff sitting in my closet. I'd much rather spend money on guitar stuff than transformers.

That being said........ The new Chibi Devastator that just got announced miiight be purchased on the spot

its nearly impossible to quit. i had to settle at whittling down to MP, seasons 1 through the movie.
if you wanted to stop the first step would definitely be to stop coming to this site.
