I'd been wanting to expand my roster of Autobot Pretenders/Decoy Suits (and was in the midst of Project: ULTRA, which also serves that purpose) when I happened across Jax TF-fan's Thunderwing & Crossblades on the Toyhax FB group page and was inspired, I mean why settle for yet another variation on the same gun/weapon again when you can mix up the alt modes a bit more by getting deeper in the lore?
Unfortunately I didn't have an Activator Animated Megatron to hand, nor was that going to be an easy or cost effective find so I thought I'd go back to the 'copter that obviously inspired the G1 shell alt, the vaunted Apache!
I did manage to get a 1:115 scale snap together model for a mere £3 of your Earth Pounds Sterling though to go with a bargain Metalhawk suit with a somewhat truncated gunbarrel left over from Project: ULTRA, a couple of cyberverse chainswordguns, Milliput, much superglue, and some appropriate repainting et VOILÀ!

    Transformation is rather simple...

Okay, confession time: He's actually a partsformer! :p

...but it was the best way I could get a not-too-janky looking not-quite-Apache, and a robot/suit mode that wasn't an inverted 'L'-shape!

Current resident Prime is my poor formerly-naked Vector, who got bumped from his Metalhawk suit so TR Metalhawk could be a "Proper" Pretender with his Titanmaster swanning about in it.

He seems happy enough now though!

Yeah, I thought I was looking at a Highbrow repaint, when I saw it the first time.

I'm afraid I don't, plus if you're not in the UK Shipping would be pretty prohibitively costly anyway.

Came across this SI-DAN Ammo Pouches accessory on a Lego run for other tiny TF accessories that are the perfect coup de grace for finishing off Crossblades!
