Ever notice those TFs whose arms and legs can position just right to make a gerwalk mode? Post your findings here.

Jetfire's the only one that comes to mind as it was a big feature in the Macross series.

    Ebay:
TFTM Blackout mold (Grindor, Evac, etc.) has a really half assed one.

was goofing off and realized that his arms can be pulled out in alt mode.
so in a way, he can fly/hover over something and do complex tasks with his hands.
haven't tried to stand him on legs in a full gerwalk mode, though.

I don't know. I shop at Walmart. I may not be smart enough to figure it out.

Gerwalk isn't really any different than people calling paper facial tissues a kleenex. Technically it's to refer to Macross/Robotech veritech fighters in the halfsies mode. But it can, and is, used to refer to any alt mode with legs/arms that you can a figure that transforms into.

I just say, "if it's got arms and legs sticking out in alt mode, it's a gerwalk"

I guess what bugs most people is that it's an acronym to mean 'jet with legs' more than a Macross thing.

Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-joint.

That's why a jet can be a gerwalk without having arms out.

Acronyms have specific meaning because they aren't just a made up word, but are a compilation of words that already exist.

You could say the W stands for 'wheeled' though. :lol

How bout G1 optimus? It's kind of silly, but i think it qualifies.

    And definitely Energon Bulkhead.
