German Beast Wars DVD Set announced

    Ascot Elite Home Entertainment has announced that they will release the first Season of the Transformers Beast Wars Series on DVD in Germany. This marks the first time that all 26 Episodes will be available completly Uncut since RTL2, the TV Channel which broadcasted the Show in 1998 edited many Fight Scenes to deem down the Violence.
    The will include all 26 Episode with german and english Dub, no Word on Bonusmaterial yet. The Set will be released on April 24, 2012.
    It is also unknow if Ascote will release Season 2 & 3 of the Show, since bots Seasons weren't dubbed and shown in Germany.

    I cannot wait to finally get a german Release of the Show and I really hope that Ascot is going to release Season 2 & 3 too, even if it lacks a german dub ^^

    That is a badass cover. Way better than the one we got here in 'Murica. I eagerly hope that one day a miracle will be pulled off and we will get a Blu Ray release. *Keeps holding breath*

    Which languages does the DVD feature? Although I'm german, I prefer to watch Transformers in english. Maybe when it gets cheaper I give Beast Wars a chance. But now I have to watch Armada first.

    In german we would say "Cool" or "Geil" or "Hammer" for example. "Sehr gut" sounds a bit stiff and formal and does not reflect any excitement. :D

    Great cover!
    Cool to have the best TF series released there, but real fans probably have the US or UK release allready for years :D

    Just login on amazon.de with your account of amazon.co.uk and order it from Germany. I do it the other way around when I want to buy video games that cannot be ordered in Germany because of our stupid censorships called USK and BPjM.

    Both the German dub and English audio are on the disc, read the description, pretty cool, region 2 too, just a shame the series has never seen release in the UK completely since VHS.

    I wasn't allowed to be friendly, my instructor was VERY stiff and formal... :)
