You know, I used to think the scalper thing was overblown until I went to TRU today and saw a guy pick up all three MP10 reissues and the line chaos on velocitron set..

There's also 3 sets at Duluth TRU. But stand in front of Voltron and turn around. They're on the shelf behind you when looking at TF stuffs.

 

That was me, I had to mess with that guy talking about things he didn't know about. I left the velocitron set and picked the best box of the three MP 10, two were really banged up. My 15% coupon only worked on one item.

 

I hope you're not talking about our conversation cause if so, that is just so sad.

 

Bought Windblade on Amazon for $23. Figured the extra 8 bucks is better spent there, then gas and frustration looking for her.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with that same frustration. A lot of the stores around my town barely refill their stocks. I'm usually forced out of the area to find anything. However I do wait so I don't spend too much. I'm okay blowing my patience on the wind if I see something online, but only for the actual price. Any higher and I'll continue to wait.

Speaking of which and keeping to this thread, Dawesonvill's Toys R Us outlet got restocked with voyager Megatrons and Hounds, and boy do they have a lot of Hounds. Was thinking of grabbing one but I'm setting the money aside for other stuff. But dang does he look great. Does anyone have the Hound figure? Curious to know what people think of him.

Windblade is the last figure I'm buying until AWA in September anyway. I actually make money there selling my Transformers every year.

 

It puts the aoe figure to shame. Its weighty, it has awesome proportions, and looks great with the aoe weapons. The transformation is awesome, and the alt mode is really nice.
Long story short, pick him up next time you see him.

Athen's toyrus had three masterpiece primes, two of which had badly busted boxes. I didn't get one cause I'm happy with my 25th anniversary Prime from a few years ago. There was also one of the big black jets from titans return, Sky Shadow I think?
And I guess this toysrus will never have Velocitron sets, that or I keep missing them.

 

Called Athens tru this morning and they said they were out of mp-10s. Just my luck.

 

That's crazy. I was there about 7-8pm last night. I guess after I posted here someone scooped them up before closing? And two were badly crushed. Sorry. Maybe someone will eventually add me to the secret Georgia collectors group so I will no longer be advertising info to scalpers.

It usually only applied to Star Wars and Hotwheels. I really didn't see the Scalper menace get into Transformers until the last few years. It an extent they stayed away from The Bay stuff.Up until recently its been Generations, CW, and TR.
