Awesome. ROTF Scouts totally own Real Gear.
ok thats a scary bot.
..and the 2009 award for the most breakable transformer goes to...
Scalpel...aka The Doctor.
Seriously there are going to be more parts of this scattered around the world than there are people who want Frank Welker to be the voice of Megatron in the movie.
I think I'll pass on this one....and the rest of the movie toys while I'm at it
I think the engineering on this one is marvellous and would pick it up if it's cheap enough.
would be hilarious to see transformers using him in microscope mode XD
i get the feeling that scalpel is staring at me through the computer... I WANT MY MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...so was there an explanation for the need to make the Transformers, the Decepticons in particular, monstrous beings with knife-like appendages? I get that they're aliens, but why the need to make them look like they're somehow related to Edward Scissorhands/Freddy Krugger? Why can't we have a Transformer who doesn't look scarry, but is twisted on the inside?
(This can also be applied to Wheelie, Mudflap, Skids, etc.)
that little guy is awesome. He's like the love child of Wall-E + Johnny 5 + Aliens.
Yeah, he rips open your rib cage and watches the resulting mess in microscope mode!
I love the scout line for this movie!
I'm totally getting this guy. I'm a biologist and this is an insect transforming into a stereoscopic microscope. Don't need to say much more...
Can the legs be bent more to have him stand on the tip of the legs (like an insect)?
The upper body part leaves me unsatisfied, though. Seems to be a little mistransformed.
Minor correction: 6 feet = insect. Spiders have 8; they are not insects. And those "hairs" would be the antennae...
Can't wait to see him ripping Sam's hand apart while interrogating him. Makes sense to me that is where the injury will come from (in movie).
i want your mommy too........hhhahahhhah because im scared......sorry, i coulnt pass that one up......
i like him alot...the size throws me off. hes as big as a biplane...
Unless he counts the arms as little legs that he uses to tourture.
Also, he's not an insect or spider. He's a robot.
Now that was cool. Very complex for a Basic class. My only question is can the same design team that made him also come up with a decent Frenzy?
This is the only movie toy I'm even considering buying. Not that I'm not that fond of it, but it would be cool to have a medic for the 'cons.
pretty sweet guy, will probably pick him up.
Scalpel is an awesome little bot. I'll definitely be getting him. Megs needs his little buddy. Anybody else get a praying mantis feel from him? The one thing that bugs me about this guy, is the inaccurate paint-job. Although I do like the color scheme they gave him. I think a mostly silver repaint of this guy would be interesting, and would make him look more like his on-screen appearance.
