Who are you to tell people they don't appreciate things they have? Because the finger can just as easily be pointed back at you, my friend. In my opinion, you don't appreciate the things you have either. Keeping TRANSFORMERS toys (of all damn things) sealed away has always been a huge damn shame to me. "Yep, got this new Ipod! Music. TV. Games. Man, this would be even better never opened and put on a shelf!" Why not just go to the designer's house and personally spit in his dinner? He might find it less insulting. I'm aware of what the acronym stands for, but it still doesn't make any sense. Firstly, there never was any line called Classics. The line was simply called Transformers. It was an adoptive term used to describe neo-G1 figures, so it's inclusion in an acronym comprised of official line names is nonsensical. Henkei, Universe and Generations should all be described as 'Classics'. At least the figures from those lines that apply. Let's not forget, with the exception of Henkei, those lines included many figures which aren't considered Classics. Secondly, what of the many figures from different lines that people often consider Classics? Music Label Soundwave. Energon Downshift and Shockblast. Botcon/PCC Huffer. Masterpiece Grimlock. How does the acronym apply to them? Finally, if you include Classics and Henkei within the same acronym, lines comprised of the same figures with marginally altered paint schemes, then why isn't United in there? It's paint schemes are marginally altered from Generations so it would make just as much sense. And no, the U isn't pulling double-duty. The WWE isn't gonna' be shortened to WE just because the acronym has two W's. That's bull.
Classics, Universe, Henkei and Generations are all lines that have effectively finished. CHUG doesn't need any more figures. Perhaps you're talking about more homage figures for the main Transformers 2010 toyline?

Since I'm the one who started it, let me first say: If you don't want to use the acronym, by all means say whatever you want. I got tired of saying my "Classics/Universe/Generations shelves" and someone else suggested Henkei in there and CHUG was born. If a figure is in multiple lines, sure, you say which one you're talking about, but geez... Leave people alone that DO want to use it. As for the slur... Give me a break.
Runabout and Runamuck from the Tracks/Wheeljack mold. Give them the "hood" look with the back of the car behind their heads, remove the wings and use WJ's legs
The best part of the new Wheeljack isn't how good he is, but that he's finally going to get people to take that other figure off their shelves.
A Chug is also a kind of dog. Also to drink something fast. People are way too sensitive nowadays. It's a harmless acronym. So you disapprove of the word Slag, too? People get so fired up over being politically correct that even harmless words get twisted around. I had to google chug to see what you were talking about... It's all in context and how you take it. In other words... don't use it if you don't want to, but leave others alone that do. Back on topic... Getting the OP Botcon tickets...
It kind of amuses me how the fandom has been forced to assemble their own toyline from toys spreaded over different waves and official lines, but with the same visual styles. So many different views of what should be "accepted" and what shouldn't. I like it more now that there's a lot more fans to voice their preference, and a lot more toys to choose from. A while ago, my personal Classics group would be WRONG ON THE INTERNET, now it's just different but okay.
