This is a really nice piece. I would have preferred the missile launcher on his shoulder, but that's a very minor gripe about a really nice illustration.

SQ7. Its funny cause i added the missile launchers and he looked like he was a 7 year old having a tantrum. I'm not sure why so i removed them. I need to add them back.

:lol  I can totally see that when I mentally take away the gun and put it on his shoulder as a launcher.

I think the illustration work is fantastic. I will say that after my previous comment and especially after yours that this actual pose may be what's not working well in your favor. I sorta have a hard time seeing WJ posing like this. Wheeljack seems to be a bit more of an insecure character, and this pose is kinda one of those "HEY! I'm AWESOMELY tough now!" or something kinda poses.

I DO think it would work a lot better as Tracks

Anyways, I've really enjoyed critiquing this work, as I feel it's nice enough to continually engage in doing so. Thanks so much for sharing! :thumb

IDW needs to hire me.;)  That would be my dream job.
    thanks for the comments guys.
SQ7 I like raging discussions about the pros and cons of art. Agreed WJ might be a little too tough in this pose. One thing I am trying to work on is fleshing out the characters more through expression/pose etc. Its tough to add emotional elements to robots, and i 'm not a big fan of the toony/animated look, so exaggerations are out. In fact i would clog this whole fan art section with technical art just so i wouldn't have to see more "animated" Fan Art IMO.
Dark, edgy, technical, and complicated is how i like my TFs.

This is amazing. Wheeljack's become my favorite character over the last couple years. It's awesome to see fantastic art of him.
