He just arrived, and I LOVE him. I don't have Tracks, so this is my first experience with this paticular mold. But I will say, getting Wheeljack is tempting me to get Tracks as well.
The height isn't too big of a problem. He looks fine when standing next to Optimus or Jazz. But my problem is that he's about Bumblebee's height, so I kind of want to make him a bit taller. But otherwise, he's awesome. Totally recommended. If I had only one more complaint, I wish that he had blue piping instead of clear. I think that might have made for a better effect. But that's a very minor nitpick. The clear piping still looks great.

Right here you can see what I was talking about earlier. He is around Bumblebee's height, only a bit taller. This probably won't be a big deal to everybody, and it really doesn't take away from the toy. But if he was just a little taller, he would be absolutely perfect. I'm not saying he should be as tall as Jazz, but just a couple centimeters is all.


Here is how I put the gun on his shoulder, and I don't see why a lot of others don't do it. It's an easy solution that looks much better. Now he's no longer shooting his ears!


I love this guy a lot, so I'm gonna have to take more pictures soon.  

 

LOVE this guy! Just wow! my only gripe are his little tools which dont really look like anything, but I just clip them on the back of the arms anyways. LOVE the shoulder rocket.

 

Very cool pics Hiraga. So how did you put the shoulder cannon there? Mods, 3mm clip, or what. So that when I get my own I don't have that his shoulder cannon is about to shoot off is ears.

 

No mods, none at all. I learned how from Vangelus actually. It's incredibly simple to do, which is why I'm so suprised nobody else has done it.

This guy is definitely getting modded--he should be taller than Bumblebee and closer to Jazz in height.

 

Anyone got a side by side comparison with Tracks in bot mode? I'm wondering how much difference there is.

 

Got mine today as well. I kinda llike how he's shorter than Tracks. Makes the two even more different from each other.

Wheeljack: great Generations figure or greatest?

 

Honestly, I think BB is too tall. Of course that is to be expected with him being a Deluxe class figure. As I have said many times, almost all G1 minibots should be redone as Scouts (like Windcharger).

 

Ah, the remolding does remove Track's kneecap, I was worried for a bit. Hopefully I can find him!

so awesome. I'm really impressed by the level of remolding. They really went above and beyond with the toes and the fin and wingtips.

 

I finally opened mine up tonight, along with Kup - and I pretty quickly forgot Kup. Wheeljack is probably my favorite Autobot to come out of Generations - there is just so much to like about this guy. Sure, he's a little stubby, but he's just so much fun to look at and fiddle around with - had to move Jazz to the second row on my shelf to make room for this guy!
