Got this guy today from BBTS and i absolutely love him, he is a very great figure, best use of the mold i must say, and his tools make great shoulder cannons as well:

Go get him, totally worth it, vehicle mode looks fantastic, the lightpiping with the lighting up ears is great, and overall, he is a great wheeljack. he even has BETTER leg articulation than tracks, he actually has fully useful knees! he is on the stubby side, but don't let that stop you from getting him, he is right at home in a classics display

Considering nothing can be more stubby than G1 Wheeljack, I'm perfectly fine with the way he looks.

they extend, but the way i have them is as far as they extend, so without modification it is that stubby

My BBTS order including Wheeljack comes Wednesday. I can't wait -- I've never owned an original and I briefly had an Energon Downshift, which was a poor substitute. Hallelujah for early birthday presents!

Wheeljack's legs don't extend out as far as Tracks because then he'd have ugly open rails for kneecaps.

I did a waist mod on Tracks and plan to do the same to Wheeljack. They both need it and it helps with the overall proportions.

Thanks for sharing gc. Can't wait for him to hit retail.

I love the way this looks. Hopefully he'll hit the UK import stores soon, got mine on pre-order alongside Thundercracker.

I'm feeling really spoiled this year, thanks Hasbro ^^

I've got the united version on preorder but the generations version was my first choice. Preorders selling out can be a bitch :lol  Either way, I look forward to mucking about with it.

Looks really good! I got WJ along with TC, Kup and Scourge but last night was for opening up Decepticons. Can't wait to see the goodness for myself tonight.

My BBTS case came in yesterday as well. The white plastic on Wheeljack is TITS. So much better than the off-white on Gen Drift and RTS Jazz. Hasbro deserves a pat on the back for good old Wheeljack. :)

Honestly, I really don't think Wheeljack needs that type of mod. Tracks? Sure. But WJ was never a towering toy or character. I remember him always seeming "stubby."

I'm not looking to make him towering--just roughly the same height as RTS Jazz. I liked the look of him in the G1 toon....where he wasn't short or stubby. His G1 toy was, sure. But I want him taller, with better proportions.

Here you have it for the whiteness. Generations Wheeljack is, in person at least, what I would qualify as a near-perfect white tone. By comparison, United Jazz and Drift are cool whites, and RtS Jazz and Generations Drift are degrees of warm whites.

Very excited for him. Wheeljack should be stubby. Not a midget, but not average height either. This toy is just right.
