Definitely interesting looking figures. Prime seems to suffer from faction-symbol overload, but I think I'll repurpose him into Classics Sentinnel Prime or something. Jazz would be repurposed if not for the name on the spoiler, but this one seems to have gotten the paint apps the RtS version needed. I'll definitely watch for this set at Walmart if it ends up there. Anyhow, it seems like the Decepticons are falling way behind on the exclusive repaint/remold category. Sure, the club has two in their sub, but the TRU GDO deluxe line and this pack are all Autobots. +-MWG-+
Yup! This is its fifth use (sixth, if you count the United version of G2 Laser Optimus as its own), but only the second from Hasbro/Takara since other three are from Fun Pub.
Man, I hate the ugly paint apps on Jazz and Op, but every time I decide not to buy a classics mold or legends set, I end up regretting it later and having to pay eBay prices, so add me to the preorder list. :/
that's a bit higher than i want to pay for this set, but i love that damn Jazz mold so much, and have everything but the United version and Wheelie, so I may try to get this, especially if it hits a sale price later.
No he doesn't. I am starting to own way too many of this mold though. Anyone want the original one, or an SG Ultra Magnus?
If this had been as similar to the G2 deco for Jazz as initially proposed, i'd have bitten. Since it's not, it'll be a pass from me.
I like this set. I'm gonna get it, but I don't dig Jazz as a G2 Jazz. The G2 Jazz reprolabels set is so much better obviously if you want a TRUE Classics G2 Jazz...but I can't say I dislike the deco either. I'm a sucker for "Classics" G2 stuff so I'll get this set for sure.
Jazz actually looks pretty cool. If I can split the cost of the set with a friend of mine, I probably will. I'm already planning on getting Motormaster, and Jazz would make an interesting addition to my collection. Though I have absolutely no interest in the Optimus or Thundercracker figures.
I'm going to split this with my bro. I'll take OP and TC. Don't care for Jazz, and I want it to feel like an even purchase for him, so Motorbreath is his.
I like that O.P. more than Scourge for some reason. Preordered! Glad there's more of these, last time BBTS was out. Hope he gets a trailer.
