Just put the finishing touches on this guy. Turned out nice, really diggin' these versions of Topspin and Twin Twist. This guy is heavily inspired by AutobotX23's versions of TT. I got Earl's approval for the remake and I added a new head, different chestpiece made up of several TF's and Gundam parts, as well as new twin cannons on either side (which can be on the shoulders holding the Drills, or on the arms for maximum firepower). Also added some custom knee pads courtesy of Zildjian. Painted with Citadel Armory base flat grey, then added several washes of Badab Black and several hues of blue from Citadel as well. Also threw in a shot of some of my Wreckers collection to date. I have several more, but I'll wait til I get the whole fraggin' lot of em' and then I'll post pics of the whole team. Alt. mode pics up soon, very tired now......As always C&C are always welcome, Enjoy Folks!
Thanks! They should be up within a few days. Just got alot goin on at the moment. Stay tuned brutha man......... Yes!!! Get to it man! Than you can throw it up here on the boards like Lindsey Lohan on a Friday night! A little shout out to all the construction workers out there! Gotta save those knees man, especially with all the heavy lifting in close quarters! Thanks man. Those are from a set of Mole Pods (2) from the G.I. Joe ROC small vehicle assortment. Right! Like he could pound the livin' sh@t out of anything that gets in his way. A real bruiser this guy...... Hey thanks Jango! There's your Broadside my man! You're helpin' me get there bro', one step at a time...... Thank you kindly, and those guns are both from a Generations Cybertronian Megatron. Just slightly modified for my needs.
That group shot is pretty epic. I'd like to say that I think Twin Twist needs some lighter gray on him. Other than that, I think he fits nicely with your others
Awesome, just awesome. The amount of detail is immense and it looks like he's packing some serious firepower. How long did it take you altogether?
Thanks SQ7! Thought about putting in some lighter gray initially, but decided against it due to the fact I wanted him really dirty and Grimy lookin like a real tank ought to look. For a group shot, just wait, you ain't seen nuthin' yet cuzzzzZZZ!!!! Cool, thanks bro'! Well, I started him back in January, but other stuff kept comin up and I'd keep puttin him off. I did around 5-6 other customs in that time frame and I'd just do a little bit on him, put him down, stew on it, go to another custom for awhile, put that one down, stew, go back to TT, stew(rinse, wash, repeat). But talkin hours put into him, I'd say around 20 or so. Once I got the materials, he came together pretty Quick! Thanks again!
Man, these little Jumpstarters have sure grown up! You've done a kick-ass job on both of these guys (& the rest of your Wrecker's crew as well). They look f#ck'n sweet Mate! Oh & how are those alt-mode pics coming along...
Thanks man! The best part of them is that they're a mish-mash of great customizers doing them as well! From the ones pictured here, I've done most of them, the exceptions being AbX23's newest Roadbuster that he just made for me on the end there far right, and JangoThaKing's IDW Broadside in the back. You betcha! Still workin' on gettin a few of em' done, but it will be soon bruthaman, you can bet on it! Ha, yeah a few months in the makin huh?? haha, I'll see what I can do here as well mate. I've really been ill-inspired to do pics until I get the new camera and picture set-up I want.
