    Hi!

I swear I read somewhere (maybe in one of the SDCC recap) that Hasbro plans to re-release, in conjunction with Sky Shadow and Junkheap, some of the Generations that are scarce.

Mainly : Scoourge, Tracks, Jazz, Wheeljack, Kup, Warpath, Rumble and Frenzy

Does anyone have any info or confirmation on this ?

    Godspeed

Rumble and Frenzy aren't up for release in the new assortment. They're Scout-class, not Deluxe, and they were sleighted for the Reveal the Shield line, not Generations. No clue where they're going to end up.

I think Kup, Warpath, and Wheeljack are the ones up for a re-release.

When Hasbro ships a new wave of figures, they fill that case with prior figures as well. Wheeljack, Warpath, and I think Kup are slated to ship with Sky Shadow and Junkheap.

And to clarify, Tracks and Jazz were NOT released as Generations figures and would not be in future cases unless Hasbro decided to re offer them. Rumble/Frenzy are scout figures and would not be offered in the deluxe only Generations assortment as is.

I thought I read a generic response from Hasbro that they were "looking into a way to get them into circulation" or something to that effect, but no specific plans. I think the allegedly final wave of Generations in 2011 will be Sky Shadow, Junkheap, and a few of the harder to find Deluxes like Warpath. I certainly could be mistaken, though.

It's a mis-mis-quote. Hasbro generic response is that they were "always looking to get everything into circulation but no guarantees as some thing they do not have any control over".

Still, the more time Wheeljack and Warpath are released, the more chance there is of some overspill making the UK. Good times.

Frankly, Rumble and Frenzy can wait.

They need to do Wreck-Gar as well in that. Even with Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxxs, I have yet to see one at retail

If they had different heads, then they'd have different names.

    They're still Scourge,Warpath and Kup.

Again, Wreck-Gar was RtS, so he's not up for consideration.

Not unless Hasbro slips them into Generations, which if they do, would be considered "new product" and a different wave. And it won't happen until next year :p

I didn't mention Scourge because I don't think he is really hard to get. BBTS still has him FOR RETAIL. Just because Walmart isn't overflowing with Scourge and Kup doesn't make them "hard to find".
Hell, the online guys still have an entire "four piece set" for $50 (which includes three of the four guys Greenspan has listed as "scarce": Wheeljack, Kup, Scourge, and Thundercracker)

We'll be getting junkions in generations.

It must be bad luck, I've scored four wreck-gars at Marshalls/Ross, one just last week. No windchargers though and I'm returning my Strafe.

I'd love to see Wreck-Gar released again, in whatever line. I think a lot of people still want Wreck-Gar. Looking forward to the generic Junkion that is supposedly coming out in the Generations line.

I saw all those at Target on Sunday, multiples of each, Scourge, Warpath, Wheeljack, Thundercracker and Kup. I only grabbed Wheeljack but I might go back for a Kup.

I'm glad that they'll be rereleasing Warpath, since I haven't been able to find him yet, but I hope they release Rumble and Frenzy (preferably in a two-pack), and Lugnut and Grapple, which I still haven't been able to find at Marshall's.
