Just want to say that after picking up Blurr and Thunderwing hasbro is really doing a great job for long time fans and new alike. After the classics ended we thought we would never see more of these great molds and now years later are armies grow. With some more obscure characters and some long awaited ones.
I guess either people who hate/love the movie have to be thankful for its success because I doubt we would have such a huge selection of TF's on the shelf’s without it.

Really looking forward to more stuff down the line.

Add one more to those who are ecstatic over these, tho I do have a few things about them.
1.Wish they would do Ramjet again but in G1 accurate colors and
2.Do clear Starscream like the Henkei version but be a Hasbro version.

    Those would rock,and maybe Sunstorm.

The only way Generations/United could possibly get any better for me would be one of two dorkgasmic dreams for me:

G1-esque Deluxe combiners like Devastator or Superion
    -OR-
Updated Generations Deluxes and Voyagers of characters from Victory/Zone, like a Voyager Star Saber or Dai Atlas or a Deluxe Leozack!!! Holy crap, how rad would that be?

Having obscure or less-known characters brought out is a pleasant bonus for the line. Honestly, I'm tired of the constant G1 re-do's, so a Thunderwing or Darkmount or WfC figure now and then is perfect.
I just hope other series are explored eventually, such as the Japanese-only lines and more Beast-era stuff.

Voyager would be amazing, but beggars can't be choosers.

I actually think Generations is a bit of a let down after the '08 Universe line. Granted, a lot of that has to do with WFC releases that I couldn't care less about. Though Universe also had a number of Cybertron redecoes I passed without hesitation as well.

I just think there's a huge difference between "obscure character" and "highly saught after character."

Straxus and Thunderwing mean nothing to me, personally. So out of the 10 figures released in the line so far, I'd only call 2 maybe 3 of them any real draw. Thrust, Red Alert, and Blurr. And even then I have the Henkei releases of the first two.

^ What do you think about the upcoming Generations like Kup and Scourge? Or the RtS line? I think Hasbro's going out of its way to release something for everyone.

My only problem with Generations is my same problem with Universe 2.0. Some characters being released as deluxes when they warrant voyager molds. IMO Thunderwing should have been a voyager released in the Transformers line alongside Grapple and Lugnut.

It would be nice if there were more Voyagers made, but it does come down to money. Voyagers cost more to make and don't sell as well as Deluxes, not to mention the higher price point.

Sucks, but that's why they make the toys––to make money.

All that said, I do wonder just how awesome a Voyager Galvatron would have been.

Yeah. I'm passing on Thunderwing because of size, but Star Saber or whoever would be too hard to resist even in deluxe class.

Yeah, Here is what I don't want to happen:

    [Hasbro development team meeting]

A: Hey, how about we do Star Saber and Victory Leo in voyager?
B: Nah, our scope right now is only for deluxe size class in Generations

    I would rather have:

    [Hasbro development team meeting]

A: Hey how about we do Star Saber and Victory Leo?
B: It'd have to be in deluxe size... I don't know...
    A: That's FINE!

I love the Generations figures. My only complaint is some of them can be hard as hell to find at retail (Blurr and Dirge I am looking at you).

As long as they keep making figures for obscure character, I'm in love.
