After seeing vatarian's repaint of Terradive into Starscream, I decided to finally repaint my Terradive into Skywarp which was my original intended purpose. I kept putting it off, but I've finally done it. Took me about 3-4 hours. The only Skywarps I've owned up to this point are MP and Animated. He's my favorite seeker next to Acid Storm(only because he's green) and one of my favorite Decepticons.

I used pictures of various Skywarps and ended up with a nice color scheme and good places for silver and purple. The purple is more purple in person, the camera made it a little more blue/pale than it really is.

I'm not one of those people with a bunch of spare parts, so I tried to modify Terradive's head into something more Skywarpy. It came out a tad sloppy, but he has a sorta ninja mask look to him. Kinda like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, etc. from Mortal Kombat. It's not characteristically Skywarp, but I think it fits, given his prankster personality. I mean, ninjas must be able to pull great pranks with all that stealth. The stealth look also goes with his ability to teleport.

Enough of the description, take a look and tell me what you think. I think it fits the mold very well. I may pick up an extra Terradive to make Acid Storm.

LOVE that mold (bought half a dozen of these for kit bashing myself). Great paint jobs/color scheme. Did you try exchanging a head on it to see if you could find one that fit? Just curious if you tried and there wasn't room for it. If you did try, what heads/combos did you try out?

Gotta love how versatile that mould is. If I see another one I'm picking him up.

He is actually a great mold for head swaps. There is plenty of room in alt mode for almost anything (I put a molded ROTF Dirge head on one and even that conehead fit perfectly).

    Looks nice.

I didn't try any, but as Massdestruction says, the way the head stores in altmode has quite a bit of extra space for various head shapes and sizes.

Yeah, I might pick up a couple more since they're on clearance. You could have 20 of this mold and each one be a different character, lol.
