I'd kinda like these guys to fill the role of the old Subscription Service. To give us obscure stuff, to give us the Armada Demolisher from TR Hardhead, to give us Energon Megatron from TR Galvatron, Overcharge from TR Blitzwing, Armada Sideways from CW Groove with retooling for TR compatibility, Straxus from Siege Megatron, Zeta Prime from Siege Optimus (WFC is my definitive Zeta) and the Monstructor six! They don't even need new heads!

Ahh hell with it. I want red G1 toy color Swoop with the clear beak.

    Boom. Pre-ordered! :buttrock

I'll call hims Sweeps ;)  or Swoop II. He will be welcomed to my dinobot squad along with pre-ordered 29.99 Paddles (3rd party Planet X Triton):p . Can never have too many G1-ish dinobot members. :)

Stepper... POTP Jazz mold was pretty underwhelming to say the least.  On the fence, but will pass for now unless it ever goes on clearance... if not, no loss. o_O

    Greenlight. Eh, pass/red light.

The only characters I want in this line are Titans Return repaints done as the Autobot Targetmasters, Sureshot made from Full Tilt, Crosshairs from Kup/Orion Pax, and Pointblank from Hot Rod.

By the way the Cybertronian on the package just translates to "Transformers"

"Translates" is a bit much. It's not like an actual language where you have to learn not just the character set, but also what words mean and how grammar works. It's just a simple cipher that substitutes every letter of the English alphabet with a made-up glyph.

Maybe we can finally get an actual Jhiaxus, by far the largest travesty of the thrilling 30 line (but not the only one).

Could the packaging be any more of a rip-off of the TFSS packages?!

It's kind of insulting in how blatant it is.

Looks like an outer mailer box to me, albeit one that's a bit prettier than usual.

If you call it an homage rather than a rip-off, it seems rather sweet

Well, to be fair, TFSS had a license from Hasbro and didn't really own anything other than ideas and some names.
Plus, it's a brown shipper box. It's not like TFSS actually owns the rights to such a thing.

You can be insulted by it or you can look at it as happenstance. Me, personally, I'm going the happenstance route. Even if it is blatant, Hasbro has that right. *shrugs*

I... have a confession. I... ship items in cardboard boxes. ;_; I'm so sorry. I promise I won't do it anymore. I won't, I mean it! *crosses fingers behind his back*

The look just seems a bit too intentionally similar.

My response seemed angry, but it really wasn't.

Hasbro's been toying around with the idea of a subscription service ever since FunPub folded. That's why Arcee and Grotusque shipped in identical unlabeled boxes and were even labeled at retail as "sub" or whatever and the number.

They look like the TFSS because that's what they're going for. At some point, if these sell well enough...I would fully expect Hasbro to roll their's out.

The package is not a deal breaker but for special editions, I have the same problem with it as I did with TR Arcee and Grotusque. I wish that 1. they could have put a little more thought into it to make it pop (unless this is just an outer shipper) and 2. they do something to Ricochet/Stepper's to differentiate it to keep him from getting mixed up with Swoop's box or any future Selects.

Because a red car repainted into a red car is what everyone wants to buy again, right?

Red is Marvel Swoop, blue is cartoon Swoop. No need for a rename or a number attached.
