I just got Generations Scourge tonight, and pulled out my old Titanium, man I had rose colored goggles on this guy, I love his alt mode and the bot back then, but the bot mode looks like a flying monkey compared to him.

I wanted to see which one would be the leader, but there is no conquest that Generations is going ot have to be in charge of this flying monkey.

I love Generations Scourge. He's way better then the Titanium version. In fact I never liked the Titanium. But, there are a lot of people that still prefer the Titanium figure. Different strokes for different folks.

Titanium Scourge would be great with more articulation. The arms, head, and legs all need more rotation.

T Scourge has a tough act to follow with Generations Scourge, though.

Incidentally I took some pics of Titanium Scourge today. The serious lack of articulation for this figure really is a let down.

Gonna replace them with my Generations/United Scourges soon.

At least the Titanium version somewhat resembles Scourge's G1 vehicle mode.

While this is true, I feel that this is a major strength of the new, Generations version.

Apart from the articulation, Titanium Scourge has that god awful ugly cheese roll on his head. And a face that looks like it came out of a lame chinese historical drama, with a huge brow and a thin chin. Generations Scourge has a perfect head, it simply screams G1 Scourge.

wow titanium scourge is fugly. never owned him, got 2 titaniums and was turned off by how the diecast wore down all the plastic hinges and would either make them unusable or loose, so I called it a day with that line.

that being said, why do people prefer titanium scourge? I wouldn't want that thing anywhere near my chug figures.

Generations Scourge wins. T-Scourge is a step-up from G1 Scourge, but it's not better than Generations

generations scourge wins for the same reason why most generations and reveal the shield, plus tfu, and classics toys win over other versions of the molds.

it takes the character, and attempts to redo it, while at the same time creating something totally different, and yet still possible.

especially with the current generations line, they have taken kup, blurr, and scourge, who were cybertronian vehicles in the original, and turned them into earth modes.

it'd be nice to see a hotrod done in the same fashion.

Initially I thought I'd use Titanium Scourge for a Sweep, also.....

But ultimately I just went out and bought a bunch of Generation Scourges...cause...yeah...Titanium Scourge just doesn't hold up.

I have to go against the popular opinion as I really like Titanium Scourge. I use him as my Scourge and the Generations Scourges as his Sweeps. I like the whole Napoleon look he has when standing next to them.

I think they're both pretty good. But Generations has a much better head.

LOL! Not as much as you would have to pay me to take Heavy Gear miniatures, they're just terrible.

Titanium Scourge was OK at the time bit Generations/United Scourge blows it away. End of story.

Yeah Titanium Scourge was the stand in until Generations came out. And then it promptly got the boot. No Regrets
