I just bought Red Alert and he is having the issue where the roof of the car does not go flush when you rotate it so the head comes out. It stays at an angle. I remember this happening on some of the Sideswipes and Sunstreakers in 2.0. Anyone else having this issue?

    TY!

The qc issue I have is that I don't have one.

Red Alert and Sideswipe are fine.

Good to know I'm not the only one who's got a Sunstreaker with a lopsided chest though.

My Red Alert is fine but my original Sunstreaker did have this issue. You can disassemble him and re-align it properly, that's what I ended up doing. He seems fine now.

My henkei Sunstreaker has the same problem. Did anyone notice that Red Alert doesn't have the proper pegs to store his engine on his back? Whoops.

My Red Alert is on his way to my house with my POL... But my Sunstreaker had a similar problem, but it was fixed easily with a little disassembly and reassembly.

My Red Alert ended up with two right parts of those swiveling parts inside the shoulder, the red ones. Or two left. Whichever.

I'm not making a big stink about though since I took the figure apart to swap out all of the horrid grey and red parts for Sideswipes white and black parts.

Oh, and my Universe version of Sunstreaker had that same issue with the chest gear. I never bothered to (since I got the Henkei), but it's an easy fix.

Yeah, my Red Alert had that issue, I just held the head and popped the rotation to the next gear tooth.

Mine had three issues. The Roof was detatched but popped on really securely without a probleml and the screws holding one of the shoulder and foot pegs in had to be tightened to tighten the joints. Other then that he's fine.

Same, my Red Alert is easily the best QC of all of them. He is perfect.

How do you attach the engine/jetpack to the gun? I tried doing this with Sunstreaker but it's not secure.

It isn't very secure on any of them. I think they just included it in the instructions and packaging because there isn't anywhere else for the Supercharger to go.

I think the roof coming detached is how they all are, for as much as I see that come up. I had to open Red up to mess with the gearing, though it was only off center a tiny bit and I can't actually tell altogether that I changed anything.

For QC, worry more about the hood's paint apps.

I had the same problem with my universe sunstreakers (both of them)

My red alert's roof did come off rather easilmy when i transformed him, but it clicked on again just as fast.

Only my hasbro sideswipe is really without issues

I've had the roof / head alignment issue on Sideswipe. It's an easy fix, you just need to open him up and re-align the gears.

I had the head problem with either Sideswipe or Sunstreaker, but forgot which one. Another problem though that I have with Red Alert and one of the others, is one of the hands is loose :(
