Sorry if I seem stupid, but I am kinda new with transformers. Here is my Question:

Is the Optimus Prime from G1 the same Prime from RID, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron?

Nope. The others aren't in any G1 universe.

Rid is semi-G1, so that prime has nothing to do with AEC's primes.

Transformers have the abilty to scan new forms; GF(the japenese version of cybertron) did not connect to energon/super link; and Hasbro/Takara knows you're willing to pay for all 5 different armada-verse primes.

All except for RiD, which was its own universe. Also, Cybertron is related to Armada and Energon in the US, but not in Japan.

    Ebay:
RID was basically a comedy series, well as much as you'd get from Transformers, that featured some kick ass 'new mold' figures mixed in with repaints of some classic G1/BW figures. It was it's own universe, but did have some nods to G1 and Beast Wars. (Koji is using Heinlad, from Beast Wars NEO as an alarm clock for instance.)

AEC was, in a sense, a redo of G1. Not the same, but a kind of reboot or retelling of everything that came before it. Every Prime, well aside from Beast Wars, has always looked pretty similar to G1 Prime. And they almost always seem to try to have him sound as similar as they can too. I have a feeling that that trend is going to continue for a LONG time to come, too.

A/E/C Prime looks and sounds the same as Optimus Primal too, but he wasn't G1 Optimus Prime either.
