Yeah, I really want MegaMoonMan's ramp extensions, but money is very tight right now.

The Iron Factory Turrets and Manacle set from Iron Factory is amazing, especially with the amount of spare weapons and accessories that you get. Despite having acquired a second gun as well as my Metroplex on E(vil)Bay, it did not feel complete until I got a Six Gun and Slammer, even if they are Legends sized. Actually, the size makes them even cooler, and makes that third party kit one of the lower priced ones. Check it out!

I'm delighted with my Generations Metroplex. Don't understand why he gets so much hate. Yes, there are things on him that are not ideal: floppy legs, ramp doesn't extend to the floor, and other such things. On the whole, however, he's a great figure. A two foot tall triple combiner that has lights and sound for under $150.

I'm curious to see what changes Hasbro/TT will make to the mold when they premiere Fortress Maximus.

I can't resist this. Metroplex's interactivity, even with newer toys, is phenomenal.

^Wow smf2045, those pics puts tears in my eyes. Such a beautifully decked out Aircraft Carrier mode with aircrafts.

    Late for the party.....

I just discovered the missile launchers on the left chest ala-G1 Metroplex (no thanks to the instructions). I'd like to ask long-time owners some questions:

    1. How do you open it aside from using brute force? Did you trim the lock a bit?

    2. Did you detail or panel-line them? Can I ask for some pics to draw inspiration on how to bring out their detail?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the tip!

Takara may have used a red plastic part and detailed the round portions yellow.... Might leave the rest white on mine but use red to detail the missiles....

Any place where I can either pick up the Reprolabels or the Eness labels for a reasonable price?

Somebody might have already fixed this, but my Metro's right arm droops and hangs down- and I really think it's the plastic connector straining from trying support the arm's weight. It's either full-blown bent or just leaning too much- I don't know- but it's just pissing me off- I don't know how to fix it or what to do. Has anyone made a shapeways adapter to maybe plug on and help hold it up or anything like that?

    It's a major eyesore. :(

Does anybody know what the deal is with Scamper's gun? It looks like is supposed to clip on to somewhere. I referring to middle part between and below the barrels.

You might have better luck posting that in the Junkion forum, not the review section.

Sorry to bump an old thread here. I just opened my Metroplex a few months ago when I got TR Fort Max. I put some batteries in him and it worked, now a few months later with new batteries his electronics no longer work.

Is this a common issue with him?

Maybe 3 years in the box wasn't good for him.

Let's see mine still says, "Metroplex Heeds the call of the last prime" Target synchronization in progress" "Target Obliterated"
