Now that is a good looking Hardhead - I think I prefer this to Warpath for the mold, actually

If they remold the legs to where the treads end up on the front of the shin, and the turret to where the barrel isn't sticking out in front, this mold is perfect for Hardhead.

    Thanks

There was some drawing leaked a while back that showed they will be retooling his head (based on the G1 toy, not comic) but not his chest. Couldn't see the legs in the drawing, but it seems doubtful as it would need to a pretty heavy retool to have tread-shins.

I know it's planned, but look at Wheeljack. Their instructicons show the engineering from the first version of the figure. Wheeljack's instructicons shows the Tracks legs transformation, the gun in his hand, and the wrenches on his shoulders. And they gave Blurr new weapons, doors, head, and spoilers.

Didn't know previous sneak-peaks only had partial changes, but it's good to hear--the cannon-chest just doesn't work for anyone but Warpath.

Helps to have a nice visual to go off. :D

Looking at this, if there are no changes (other than the head) when it comes out, I think it'd be simple enough to just transplant the cannon from the chest to the shoulder launcher. Hardhead needs to be done right. :D

The legs aren't as big of an issue. Main sticking points for me when it comes to accuracy are head and torso, and I think the mold will do just fine there, with a change or two.

I don't know, tread feet seem kinda warpath-y too... it wouldn't feel right with those still there.

I noticed on his tank mode that there are two screw holes that would be perfect for pegging in his two green guns. Unfortunately the hands are set so low in his robot mode that he wouldn't be able to hold any gun that doesn't end abruptly at its handle, unless of course you opened the "flaps" that make up his forearms, but that would look kind of stupid.

I can look past the Chest Canon as this is the more show accurate Hardhead.

I <3 The Warpath figure. I hope this comming out 2012.

I think the chest cannon blends in well enough, since it aproximates the grey techspec area on the original. The mold never really quite grabbed me as Warpath, though, strangely enough - something about it never quite seemed right, but this digibash really made me sit up and take notice
