    Pros:
    • New head sculpt is decent
    • Color scheme works very well on this mold
    • Works as a G1 update..

    Cons:
    • ...probably not MTMTE enough for some
    • Mouth on head sculpt difficult to see at distance
    • Automorph has difficulty/alignment issues in vehicle mode (ymmv)

Quick Notes: This figure is probably the least "offensive" to most and features an OK head sculpt. Swerve's mouth is difficult to see unless you are really close to it. I really like the way the colors are laid out, I think its looks great in both modes. Those wanting a version of this character ripped out of MTMTE are likely not going to be into this. The automorph for the head reveal has difficultly on mine. The base for the head is almost stuck enough that I'm concerned forcing the back panel to trigger the slight automorph gimmick may break something. I end up having to push the base down with some tweezers or something else. I also have trouble getting the truck bed to stay pegged into the hood for some reason.

This is my favorite figure of the wave. His head sculpt is not as crisp as Springer's, but still pretty alright. What gets me about this one is his color scheme really pops for me, and I really dig it in both modes. Recommended!

I like it! I'm among those who jumped on the Swerve bandwagon as a result of MTMTE, but I'm not worried about him not looking enough like the comic version-- I'd just be happy to have a G1-style Swerve of any sort. I enjoyed the Kup version of the mould, and like you said, the colours work quite nicely on it.

Blech, the face sculpt looks kind of yacky. This was the one I was originally most interested in but I'm not so sure now. Might wait for an iGear redeco of Cogz.

I don't like the head sculpt, but I'm digging the colors.

    He's a maybe.

Yeah...the face sculpt is.....like in a perpetual scowl. And he really does need his visor.

The rest of the figure looks great though. I love the colors. They are vibrant without being overbearing. As with most of the other Asian exclusives.

I can imagine a cottage industry springing up for IDW-style 3rd party heads for this guy. Which I will proceed to not buy, lol.

Hasbro should at least give him a new weapon.

I don't why they did not..a few of the other figures we've seen managed a new head and new weapon.

I'm on board with that...it would be a more interesting use of the mold in my opinion, even if it's only relevant as mirroring their respective figures in the Prime toy line.

Should have been Orion Pax, not Swerve.

Nice pics. Those eyes look ridiculous.

To me, the colors don't seem to work well as a group. In either mode it looks like something came out of salvage yard mixed with used parts.

Almost reminds me of Autobot X.

I LOVE this mold, but I really hate this color scheme and dislike the headsculpt.

Thanks again for the great pics though.

I'd buy a MTMTE head for that in a heartbeat.

Don't care for that head much. But will likely leave it as is.

MTMTE was the worst possible thing that could've happened to any and all future Swerve toys. ...and I say that in the most endearing way possible.
