The tires I'm roughly neutral about... I like the translucent tires on Soundblaster, but not on Soundwave (because I hate the purple plastic on Soundwave, so more of it is not an improvement).

I only have the Soundwave version of the mold so I can't comment on Soundblaster. But I want him too because I like the mold so much (and he has Buzzsaw....)

I finally got a Soundblaster and he and Buzzsaw are awesome!
I am amazed at how well he fits into my Generations collection.
Very glad I ignored (some) negative reviews and got this figure.
Other than showing a weapon we do not get this is a must buy for fans of Soundblaster.
Oh and the discs get stuck in him if you don't line up things perfect, which is nearly impossible.

    Overall an 8/10.

Picked this guy up a few days ago and he's pretty awesome! I got the Ravage and Rumble pack about 3 months ago as insurance that I'd pick Soundwave up, and I'm glad I got him! He looks much better than the WFC version in robot mode, and the alt mode is nice and bulky and could definitely pass as a Cybertronian communication truck. I love the boxyness of the robot mode, which hearkens back to the old G1 figure, and the disc deploying gimmick is decent. Laserbeak doesn't really deploy well, but he looks nice perched on Soundwave's shoulder. The ratchet joints on the elbows and knees are a nice addition and give him more stability. All in all, he's a great figure, and is a step up from his WFC Deluxe counterpart in almost every way. I'd highly recommend picking him up if you have the means to!
