How widespread is the problem with Swindle's shoulder pin anyways? I've had my SDCC one for about a month now and I've transformed him dozens of times without any visible change or damage or whatever.

It's happened to a few people, anyway, myself included.

Happens when you try and lock the shoulders in place in botmode on Swindle by sliding them back.

Both pins on my SDCC Swindle would slide out every time I transformed it as well.
A small drop of super glue on the tip of both pins at the back of the shoulder fixed the problem.

So what exactly happens? The pin literally falls out?

Either way, it hasn't happened to my SDCC or retail Swindle.

It doesn't fall out - it stays attached to the sliding piece so it ends up poking out the back when you slide it to lock the shoulders for botmode.

I'm actually pretty glad that's never happened to my Swindle. Sorry to see that others are having that problem. =/

Pairing SDCC Swindle and Vortex, with retail Blast Off, Onslaught is definitely not a bad combination, but keeping SDCC Blast Off is just way too much beige. Either Brawl is fine IMHO.

    Ah and there it is!

Yeah I think think I like the retail Onslaught best with the other 4 SDCC guys.

I think that same configuration but with the G2 Vortex might be the best possible one in my eyes, but hey, only time will tell.

If you find the time, do you mind posting a pic of retail Blast-Off as the right arm for SDCC Bruticus? Considering picking up retail Blast-Off to break up the beige.

Man, the only way this could look worse is if they'd done it in MLP homage colors :redface2:
Wish I'd been able to get the SDCC version; this just looks ridiculous.

    There's always the G2 one.

(And for the record, I think an MLP homage Bruticus would look awesome. xP)

Man, which pony would they leave out?* There's only five combaticons.

    (*Probably Applejack.)

Oddly, despite how goofy I think this looks, I think the G2 one is great (but I only want one to keep in the box). Probably because G2 brings back more toy store nostalgia for me since that's what I saw on shelves as a kid.

And I'm sure there are some collectors out there who would go nuts over an MLP Bruticus; maybe that'll be the next SDCC exclusive :lol

I was actually just thinking about that, yes.

...I would not be dismayed if they left out Pinkie Pie. *shot*

Exactly! It's goofy, but in an awesome, 90s way. I preordered one and can't wait to get it. I'll try to preserve the packaging as best I can while still taking it out, like I did with my SDCC stuff.

Of course-- you just saw two guys clamouring for it. xP

I love the blue Onslaught in the middle for SDCC Bruticus, but at the same time something is just slightly off about it. The other guys are just so dull, and then the chest pops out BLUE. I guess I like it, but not as much as I expected to. :)
